This is an amazing vintage 80s American designer Jeanne-Marc* artfully constructed dress. A lovely flowing Bohemian dress with a wide shirred waistband, accent turquoise/blue bias tape piped seams and accent trim and flutter short sleeves. Fabulous red (with a tinge of coral) fabric with abstract flowers juxta positioned with multi-colored dots. A row of blue buttons (closure) on the left side of the skirt and bodice. Bodice to blouson over wide shirred waistband. Mid-calf length. You will be noticed in this fabulous one-of-a-kind Jeanne-Marc dress. Everything about this lovely dress says summer, picnics, garden parties, and sitting on patios!

Very good vintage condition. The item has been very gently worn. Please note - minor flaws include small abrasions to fabric on the bodice (see photo for detail). *Jeanne Allen and Marc Grant, a husband and wife team, started their clothing company in 1973 in San Francisco. In the '70s, Jeanne-Marc, Jessica McClintock (Gunne Sax) and Esprit were all based in San Francisco and were the Big Three fashion brands that defined the boho-chic vibe of this time. Jeanne-Marc was known first for their use of vibrant colours and design. The company closed in 1997.
