Mental Athletic Issue #4 Salomon Cover - Where Running Meets Culture

Mental Athletic exists at the intersection where running transcends sport and becomes culture. This biannual magazine explores the aesthetic codes, communities, and creative forces shaping modern running culture. Issue #4 brings together elite athletes, innovative brands, underground crews, and visual artists who share a common language: movement.

Editorial Vision

Published biannually, Mental Athletic generates fresh perspectives on running's role in contemporary life. The magazine sits comfortably between sport, nature, fashion, and lifestyle—documenting how running connects disparate communities and creates belonging. Each issue captures the current moment in running culture whilst examining the deeper connections between movement, identity, and creative expression.

The magazine explores how running creates community, challenges conventional thinking, and exists as both athletic pursuit and creative expression. Whether you're deeply embedded in running culture or discovering its aesthetic and social dimensions, Issue #4 offers perspectives that extend beyond the standard running media narrative.

Not worth it
Very colorful and my poodle liked the ball. It didn’t last 1 week. Horrible quality and not worth the money. My dog destroyed ball as soon as I turned my back. Would return it if it was in a returnable condition

Great buy
Our dog is so happy about this. He loves chasing a ball. We also love the fact that it is collapsible and only 12 inches. We travel a lot so it’s perfect for that. I’m enclosing a movie. I did about it for Amazon.

Very disappointed
Unfortunately I ended up being very disappointed with this purchase, after about two weeks of use, it just stopped performing. Not sure what happened but it just stopped releasing the ball and I don't know why, it had no flexibility left to it. I'm not doing a very good job of trying to explain why it quit working but suffice it to say, it became useless after a couple of weeks. Broke my neighbors dog's heart, lol.

Tough & durable, but relatively light for throwing
Pattern Name: Tug Frisbee, Size: Large
This is the second one of these that I've ordered although to be honest, the first one is still very much intact and it was bought when my 3-yr old Shepweiler was still a young, but growing, pup! Tough & durable, yet light enough to be thrown (& caught), without much effort. It can also be used as a tug toy, as my other pup, a pit/boxer/"Heinz57" mix, loves to use it as.
