The Percussion Plus alto diatonic glockenspiel is a popular, standard piece of classroom tuned percussion. The instrument benefits from very accurate tuning thanks to its precision formed steel tone bars. The base is constructed from solid wood which has been specially selected in order to provide a nice resonant sound.

The instrument comprises 13 notes and plays not only in the key of C, but also in the keys of G and F major, thanks to the additional 2 x F# and 1 x Bb which come supplied with this instrument.
