This universal interface

GeNetix Node 10P  (GN10P) is a multipurpose node that provides a solution for remote data distribution in a wide variety of applications, notably offering support for Timecode, MIDI, and 10Scene. The P version of our GN10 series comes fitted with phoenix screw terminals for the DMX outputs from terminal block connectors located on the rear of the unit, offering a design ideally suited to the needs of permanent installations.

This universal interface supports Art-Net, sACN, RDM and like all GN10 nodes is fully configurable from ChamSys consoles, via its in-built web server or via the display on the unit. Its DMX ports are fully configurable, allowing for use as DMX Input or Output and has configurable DMX timings. With two network ports, GN10P can be either PoE or Mains powered via its powerCON TRUE1 line input. This versatile device is at home in many different environments as a standalone interface, truss-mounted in the rig via its M12 receiver or rack mounted via its rack ears.

The interface’s LTC and MIDI ports provide both Timecode and MIDI notes input/output to MagicQ systems over ChamNet as well as supporting Art-Net timecode compatible with any system supporting this, making GN10P ideal for applications where the Timecode or MIDI source is away from the console.

When connected to MagicQ PC Systems via USB, GN10P unlocks MagicQ PC Systems in Full Unlocked Mode, acting not only as a DMX interface, but also as a Timecode, MIDI, and 10Scene gateway, making the full power of MagicQ software available to systems running on Linux, Mac, or PC. When used as an Art-Net/sACN node, the GN10P unlocks up to 2 MagicQ Instances via Network.

  • 10 RDM DMX Ports with Phoenix screw terminals supporting Input and Output
  • Supports Art-Net & sACN
  • LTC & MIDI Timecode over Ethernet
  • MIDI Notes over Ethernet
  • Recall Scenes via UDP commands
  • Webserver for remote configuration
  • In-built display and encoder for local configuration
  • Full Unlock of MagicQ PC Systems when connected via USB
  • Full Unlock of up to 2 MagicQ Instances when connected via Network

GeNetix Nodes

GeNetix Nodes provide a solution for remote data distribution in a wide variety of applications. Supporting industry standard protocols like Art-Net, sACN, RDM along with advanced features including DMX Fallback, Merging and Scene Storage

GeNetix Protocols

GeNetix network nodes support industry standard lighting protocols; Art-Net V1,2,3 and 4, sACN – including priorities on a per universe basis and Remote Device Management (RDM).

DMX timings are fully configurable, with refresh rate, break time, frame time and MAB.

DMX Fallback

DMX Fallback enables fixtures on a single universe to be connected in a loop to two ports on the GeNetix node for redundancy. If a single cable is broken anywhere in the DMX loop, all fixtures can still receive DMX.

Individual ports can be set to Output, Input or Fallback.

DMX Fallback is supported within a GeNetix node and also between multiple GeNetix nodes.

Merging

GeNetix nodes support merging, configurable per port. The merge options are: None, HTP, LTP, Lowest IP address, Highest IP address.

When set to HTP, for each of the channels on that universe the node uses the highest level received from all sources sending to that universe.

When set to LTP, for each of the channels the node uses the data received from the latest source. The node only changes to data from the other source when the data from that source has changed in value, or when the first source has been timed out. LTP merging is only supported for a maximum of two sources.

When set to Highest IP address or Lowest IP address the node merges each universe based on the data from the source with the highest or lowest IP address respectively. For example, a house system can be set as a very low IP address and then merging set to “highest IP” to enable incoming consoles to have priority over the house system.

Scenes

GeNetix nodes support storage of 10 Scenes that can be recorded from the incoming Art-Net or sACN data. Scenes contain DMX data for one or more ports on the node.

Scenes can be replayed from either the node front panel, from the MagicQ / QuickQ Console, via the webserver or via 10Scene wall plates on the GN5 & GN10 Nodes.

Node Configuration

The GeNetix network nodes can be configured from MagicQ consoles and PC systems and from QuickQ consoles. They can also all be configured from a web server. The nodes with a front panel can also be configured from the front panel.

GeNetix nodes also support a lock PIN to prevent the configuration being modified from the front panel of the GeNetix

Lost Data Behaviour

GeNetix Nodes support 3 modes for when the node loses network data (Art-Net or sACN)

  • Hold – Holds the last output DMX values
  • None – Stops outputting DMX
  • Zeroes – Outputs DMX 0’s on all channels

DMX synchronisation

GeNetix nodes support synchronised DMX output to reduce tearing. Synchronisation is controlled via ChamNet and is available when used with MagicQ consoles.

Nice economy casual sweater,
Size: Large, Color: Off-white
The sweater is fine for the price, with correct fit. Arrived fast. Nice neutral cream/oatmeal color. It has a fairly loose open weave and is predominantly cotton, so it’s quite breathable and well suited for layering in cool but not truly cold weather. The knit is a little coarse, not really scratchy but not very soft. It’s a good value for what they charge. And fine for casual wear. But I ultimately decided to return it and spend a lot more to get a merino wool sweater because they are dressier, much warmer for weight, MUCH softer, and less bulky under a jacket. I like to wear mock turtlenecks under a sport coat in the fall and this sweater was a little too thick for that.

Soft and comfortable but runs a bit large
Size: Medium, Color: Off-white
I got this turtleneck in the off white color, and it looks very clean and easy to style. The color is true to what is shown and works well with casual or more dressed up outfits. The fabric feels soft and has a nice amount of stretch, which makes it comfortable to wear for longer periods without feeling stiff. The sweater feels lightweight but still warm enough for cooler days. It is not heavy or bulky, so it layers easily under jackets or coats. It also seems fairly wrinkle resistant. After wearing it and folding it, it still looked neat without needing much adjustment. In terms of fit, it does run a little big. I usually wear a medium, and while this one is still wearable, it feels slightly looser than expected, especially through the body. It is not a big deal, but I would probably order a smaller size next time for a more fitted look. The turtleneck itself sits comfortably around the neck and does not feel tight or irritating. Overall, it feels like a comfortable and easy to wear piece with good stretch, a nice lightweight feel, and a clean look. Just something to keep in mind on sizing if you prefer a closer fit.

Don’t recommend
Size: Medium, Color: Black
Got this as a last minute shirt for an event and it was roughly $12 on sale. The quality was ok, first wear was fine but it doesn’t hold up after washing and air drying. I don’t recommend unless only wearing once, there was a lot of shedding and pilling after the first wear. I’m rough 5 ft tall and about 140 lbs. and I got a M and it sat around my hips so unless your on the tall side this wouldn’t fit.
