when I was early in my Oregon years (almost 30 years ago!) and went to shows most every night, went to two venues this one summer night, the first one a free show (or maybe a few bucks donation) in some warehouse with about the same number of bands as there were people there to see them, the first act some kid whacking away at his guitar and biting so deep into his microphone that I thought surely he would electrocute himself...actually maybe he did and talking about how he wondered if they can hear him in Southeast Portland, which was a jab at SE I figured, maybe because rent was so expensive in SE PDX at that time, about $500 a month, for an apartment, or for rent for Green Noise...which is funny and sad now because that venue probably rents for about $10,000 a month now and while the punks and artists would blame the people that followed in their wake, the artists and punks were the first white people who moved in to take advantage of the cheap rent in the Black neighborhood (and that Black neighborhood is surround with an area of about 50 million acres without a single Black neighborhood)...but if was a good show and the line up ended with a memorable clearly improvised performance by Jackie-O Motherfucker which was just one song stretched out for about 40 minutes. This album must have been released shortly after that show, but this is nothing like that show. (Well, that's not exactly true: the show actually started sounding like part of this album but then exploded in loud chaos and continued to build that chaos into something louder and more chaotic.) The fact that they could do that show and then record an album like this shows that this is a one-of-a-kind and amazing band. (My memory recalls the band led by a Black man, who seemed to guide the proceedings somewhat how Zappa would, except completely different as well...and while this was clearly the outpouring of a band, I kind of thought the Black guitarist as Jackie O, and while I think the memory is correct, and it makes sense listening to this now, but when I look at the photos of the band, I start to wonder...maybe the band I witnessed was actually the Black guitarist joining Jackie O for the show--that might be right because he might have also played with the band that offered a set before Jackie O. Okay, I'm done. -- winch

I bought these for work as a bartender in August of 2025. By December, the tops were scuffed, frayed, and peeling beyond repair, and by February, the soles were coming off. I’ve never had a pair of shoes with such low quality.

Most comfortable shoes, right out of the box!

Oh my! So, my ordering of shoes online has been hit or miss - 1/2 size too big or too small; too wide or not wide enough. Enter these Marc Joseph shoes… such a game changer. They fit like a glove, exceptionally comfortable, and easy to slip in and out of. I like them so much that I am shopping for another pair. So far, the size, quality, fit, feel, look, and comfort make this pair my dedicated first pick. Btw, I have been wearing them for six hours and they are still very comfortable! I highly recommend these shoes.

American sizing!
Size: XX-Large, Color: Oatmeal Heather, Pocket Description: No Pocket
These are great t-shirts and fantastic quality for the price. I bought them for my sons. The cotton is thick and nice-looking, the ivory colour is beautiful and it looks a lot more expensive than it is. I bought one for my eldest son and then bought two more (one for each son). The first one I bought has been getting a lot of wear for about three months. I wash it in the machine and line dry it because we line dry everything where we live. It has held up beautifully, has not shrunk, pilled or changed in any way. The only thing, and it is not a bad thing, per se, is that this is REAL American sizing. We are all tall with broad shoulders, and my eldest is a bit heavy. (Around 1m84 and 105 kg, I'm feeling too lazy to convert it online, but probably in the area of 6'1" or 2" and over 200 pounds.) So I ordered 2XL, which is what he wears in most inexpensive brands we get here. But, although he has been wearing it, as he needed cool-weather clothes, it is long in the sleeves and body and also wide. So I ordered him a second one in XL and he will set the XXL aside until he needs it, or gains weight. I would definitely recommend sizing down from what you usually order. But these are great! The Amazon interface seems to be prompting me to address functionality and cut. The cut is very good, although both large and long. I don't really know what they mean by functionality. It's a t-shirt, not ski wear or running shoes! The cotton fabric is nice and thick and soft. It's comfortable. It definitely works, as a garment. Don't know what else to say!
(Just to let you know, I am a real human ordering from overseas. I am not paid or even receiving merchandise in return for this review, although I wouldn't say no if they offered.)
