The Chief SLB302 Mounting Bracket for Projector Mount in sleek black delivers a versatile, robust solution for securing projectors to Chief RPA series mounts. Engineered for performance in a wide range of environments—from corporate conference rooms to classrooms and home theaters—the SLB302 is designed to integrate seamlessly with Chief’s mounting ecosystem. The SLB family offers both custom interface brackets and universal interface brackets, empowering installers to tailor the mounting solution to the exact projector and installation scenario. For reference, the 1st generation universal brackets are SLBO, the 2nd generation universal brackets are SLBU, and custom interface brackets can be found under SLBXXX or through Chief's MountFinder Pro to identify the precise match for your projector and mount system. The SLB302 is built to provide a low-profile, secure connection that preserves the clean lines of your setup while supporting precise alignment and easy serviceability over the life of the installation.

  • Broad compatibility within the RPA ecosystem: Designed to work with the Chief RPA projector mount family, the SLB302 ensures a stable, reliable connection that preserves projector alignment and reduces installation complexity.
  • Flexible interface options: Choose from custom interface brackets (SLBXXX) or universal interface solutions (SLBO, SLBU) to accommodate different projector models and ceiling/wall mounting scenarios without sacrificing performance.

How to install Chief SLB302 Mounting Bracket for Projector Mount

To install the SLB302 with your Chief RPA projector mount, follow these general steps to achieve a secure and professional result. Always refer to your specific installation sheet for exact hardware and torque specifications.

  • Step 1: Verify compatibility. Confirm that the SLB302 is the correct interface bracket for your projector model and that your existing RPA mounting system is compatible with the SLB family you have chosen (custom SLBXXX or universal SLBO/SLBU).
  • Step 2: Prepare the mounting surface. Ensure the ceiling or wall structure can support the combined weight of the projector and bracket. Gather the required screws, washers, and spacers as specified by Chief for your configuration.
  • Step 3: Attach the bracket to the projector or the mount plate. Use the appropriate pattern screws and spacers supplied or recommended by Chief. Tighten to the manufacturer’s specified torque to avoid overtightening, which could damage mounting threads.
  • Step 4: Secure the projector to the bracket. Align the projector’s mounting holes with the bracket interface and fasten with the supplied hardware. Double-check that the projector is level and centered to ensure a clean projection footprint.
  • Step 5: Attach the assembly to the RPA mount. Mount the SLB302-enabled projector bracket onto the RPA mount head or arm according to your chosen universal or custom interface configuration. Tighten all connection points securely, taking care not to pinch cables.
  • Step 6: Align and adjust. Use the tilt, swivel, and pan adjustments to achieve the desired screen alignment. Perform a quick test with a content image to verify alignment, focus, and keystone correction as needed.
  • Step 7: Cable management and safety check. Route power and signal cables through built‑in channels or clips to prevent strain on the projector’s input ports. Confirm that cables have ample slack to accommodate future vertical or horizontal repositioning.
  • Step 8: Final inspection. Recheck all fasteners, confirm the projector remains level, and ensure there is no interference with ventilation or access to serviceable components. Keep the installation documentation and hardware references for future upgrades or replacements.

Frequently asked questions

  • What is the difference between SLBO, SLBU, and SLBXXX? SLBO and SLBU are universal interface bracket generations for Chief projectors; SLBO represents the 1st generation universal bracket, while SLBU represents the 2nd generation universal bracket. SLBXXX refers to custom interface brackets designed for specific projector models or configurations, typically identified or sourced via Chief’s MountFinder Pro.
  • Is the SLB302 compatible with all RPA projector mounts? The SLB302 is part of the SLB family and is designed to work with the RPA series. Compatibility depends on the specific projector model, mounting pattern, and interface bracket in use. Consult Chief’s compatibility resources or MountFinder Pro to confirm exact matches for your setup.
  • Does the bracket come with installation hardware? Hardware availability can vary by package and region. Always check the product specifications or packaging contents for included screws, spacers, and washers, and secure any additional mounting hardware as recommended by Chief.
  • Can I upgrade from a universal bracket to a custom interface bracket? Yes. If your projector’s mounting pattern or mounting environment requires a different interface, you can transition to the appropriate SLBXXX custom interface bracket or update to a newer universal bracket (e.g., SLBU) as your installation evolves.
  • Where can I find the exact specifications and weight ratings for the SLB302? Detailed specifications, weight ratings, and installation guidelines are typically listed in the product’s official sheet or on the retailer/brand specifications page. For precise data, refer to the specifications section on the listed product page or Chief’s MountFinder resources.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5
