The Kumaji 2 design is based around a 500DN nylon outer shell, with triple-lock seam technology, and a premium Humax waterproof membrane. We’ve used nylon instead of cheaper alternative materials, because it performs much better in a spill – and also has a high quality soft-touch feel. Korean-made Humax waterproof liners are highly-rated in the textile industry, and provide fully breathable waterproofing, while our bespoke removable thermal liner has double the insulating capacity of our normal linings.

When the weather gets warmer, extensive venting keeps you cool on hot days, with smart magnetic panel retainers securing the open flaps, preventing buffeting and flutter from loose material.

There’s nothing worse in a jacket than a poor fit, so the Kumaji comes in a massive range of sizes, from XS to 10XL, and also has extensive adjustability built into the design. Velcro adjusting straps on the lower hem, waist and upper arm allow fine-tuning of the fit, keeping out draughts and improving comfort on longer trips.

Finally – the Kumaji 2 is also available in a bespoke ladies cut, in sizes 8 – 24. It’s got the exact same features and performance as the men’s jacket, just with a female-friendly fit and sizing.
