This is my second version for 'Creep', because my first poster is in horizontal, landscape orientation and I think sometimes that puts people off. And I'd been thinking about 'Creep' as the ultimate outsider anthem, which put me to thinking about famous outsiders in literature and pop culture . . . which put me to Quasimodo, Victor Hugo's famous protagonist from The Hunchback of Notre Dame. There are tons of covers for that novel, but this one really captures what I've always felt is the essence of 'Creep': unrequited love and longing for somebody out of your league, or with whom you're never going to connect, because of some self-perceived flaw, or shortcoming - or barrier of destiny.
