FAQs

What precautions should I take if I use this strong magnetic frame in an environment where children are present (like a home studio)?

These industrial embroidery magnetic hoops contain powerful magnets that can snap together quickly and cause pinching injuries. Keep the MaggieFrame hoop stored out of reach of children and never allow them to handle it. When not in use, store the frame securely snapped together and away from any play area for maximum safety.

If I have computers or USB drives near my embroidery station, could the strong magnets damage my electronic data?

Strong magnets in these embroidery frames may affect sensitive electronics or magnetic data such as USB drives, credit cards, or hard disks. It’s best to keep all such items at least 50 cm away from the MaggieFrame magnetic hoop and embroidery station to maintain data integrity and prevent interference during operation.

I need to embroider a very small item like a tie or a sock. Can I 'float' these items on top of this frame?

Yes. The 8.7″ × 5″ (220 × 130 mm) MaggieFrame magnetic hoop for ROSEW is excellent for floating small garments. Hoop a piece of sticky stabilizer or base fabric first, then place the small item on top. This gives you precise placement and prevents stretching or distortion common with smaller hoops during embroidery.

How should I install and care for the MaggieFrame magnetic hoop to keep it performing well?

Before attaching the frame to your ROSEW embroidery machine, securely fasten the metal brackets with the included screws and screwdriver. Keep the magnetic surfaces clean and free of debris, and store the hoop in a dry area. Proper maintenance ensures the magnetic embroidery hoop keeps its strong grip and long-term alignment accuracy.

The Blue Team Field Manual came very fast in fact five days earlier then expected and it made me very happy! Not to mention that the book looks like it haven't even been used it was a little scratch and tiny dent on top cover but it is barely noticeable! Thank you so much! Will be coming back for some more books 📚

Crisp and Clean
Format: Paperback
This book does exactly what it promises. It's a super clean collection of tons of useful commands for any defend-focused team. It's not going to teach you any lessons, really, which is what I was looking for when I opened it. At first I was disappointed, but as I got deeper in I realized what the book was and what it wasn't, and it just got better and better. I wish there were more books of this kind. You don't have to write a dissertation in order to create something useful. Sometimes quick references are the best thing you can have.

This is just what I was looking for. Just a fast lookup of commands needed to get the job done for Linux and Windows. It is not a teaching tool but a good reference for someone who know but needs a fast reminder. And it all corralated to just frame work. Love it

A good birds-eye view book.
Format: Paperback
I own the print version of this book, and am using it to teach a high school class on Godot. What I like: it's accessible and descriptive. The explanations in the later book of why the author is doing something are pretty good. They are written in plain English and most of the reasoning for why some things are being done are explained. What I don't like: the print quality *is* dark, but I'm not sure what you can do about that given that most of Godot is using a dark UI and the book is in black and white. I found it legible, most of the time, but there were moments I had to decipher it from context. Also, I think the initial scripting section is light on details and almost pointless from an educational standpoint. It shows the reader what is going on in normal GDScript, but does not take them through any exercises. The programming aspect of the book is better explained in later chapters, but I think for true beginners the scripting section should be reworked. Overall, I will use it but will supplement it for students. For personal use: if you have basic Godot knowledge this will probably not add too much to your abilities. If you are new to gamedev this is a good way to pick up the flow quickly, even though there is not a lot of depth.
