This is due mainly to the introduction of the Merino into the breed in the early 1800's. A superb rarer breed for hand spinning and felting You will receive the 100g (3. 5 ounce) braid shown 35 38micron Hand dyed using top quality commercially prepared dyes to ensure good light and colour fastness. Very bouncy fibre, creates a lovely yarn, also suitable for felting.
