The SmallRig Cage for Sony FX30 and FX3 is a robust full cage designed to provide enhanced protection whilst expanding mounting options for professional video production. Precision-engineered for the Sony FX30, FX3 and FX3A, it offers a secure fit without obstructing access to camera controls, ports or battery compartment.
Featuring a modular design with a removable NATO rail, the cage remains fully compatible with the original Sony XLR top handle, allowing users to configure their rig to suit a wide range of shooting scenarios. A dedicated HDMI cable clamp helps secure cables and maintain reliable signal transmission during recording and monitoring.
Multiple mounting points, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, ARRI locating holes, cold shoe mounts, NATO rails and a QD socket, provide extensive options for attaching accessories such as monitors, microphones, LED lights, handles and straps. The integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate enables fast switching between handheld shooting, Arca-Swiss tripods and compatible DJI RS-series gimbals.
