The lizard’s sinuous form and contrasting gemstone palette give the piece remarkable presence, while the enamel detailing adds depth and visual drama. The pin head measures approximately 0.9 inches by 0.5 inches wide, with the entire pin measuring 2.8 inches long, making it substantial yet elegant in scale.
The gold has been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and confirmed with traditional jeweler’s acid testing, authenticating its 18k composition. The pin is in good condition with some loss to the black enamel and a chip to the emerald on the head (visible under magnification).
