March 3rd marked World Wildlife Day, and what better way to celebrate it than attending the extraordinary DSWF Wildlife Ball in the Dorchester Hotel in London? As part of the event, I was thrilled to be featured as a guest artist donating this artwork to support the tireless conservation efforts of DSWF and their ground-based partners.

A Silent Auction was organised where bids could be placed on various items including original works of various talented guest artists including my snow leopard piece. It was an amazing night raising a staggering 130.000£ for wildlife conservation! 

World Wildlife Day is an excellent opportunity to bring attention to the Snow Leopards and the magnificent, vast mountainous landscapes they live in. I witnessed these environments myself when visiting Tibet in 2019. We saw staggering amounts of wildlife, including three Snow Leopards hunting Blue Sheep. Natural strongholds like this still exist, but they are facing increasing pressure from human wildlife conflict.

With this artwork I hope to bring together natural beauty, conservation stories, Tibetan symbolism and priceless travel memories.
