The Cathar Tarot is a living Book of Images. It takes as its starting point the beliefs of the Cathars, which were in turn founded on the ancient belief system known as Gnosticism. Building on this, and drawing on a wide knowledge of Grail symbolism, the successful team of author John Matthews and artist Wil Kinghan have created a unique system that reflects the personal journey of the Seeker from that of Believer (Postulant) to Parfait (Perfected One) through his or her encounter with the archetypes whose mysterious presences lay behind the spiritual beliefs of the Cathar order. Though the pack follows the basic outlines of the traditional Tarot, many of the original archetypes have been replaced with those drawn from Cathar belief. The Cathars saw all life as initiatic journey and for the modern user this pack uniquely outlines such a journey - upon which all are engaged - which takes us from the depths to the heights of personal spirituality, via a range of human experiences with which we can all resonate. Included in the accompanying book is a brief overview of Cathar history, doctrine and belief, background information on the archetypal imagery of the cards, and three new spreads: The Cathar Cross, The Quadriga and The Consolomentum, each of which draws on Cathar tradition and reflects the underlying spiritual truth of the group.

Potentially incredibly dangerous, but also very fun

Edit to add. We've swapped out the toy for a rope with a ball on it (last picture) and it is much safer now. He's over 75 pounds now and it is holding up fine to the tugging

Our 6½ month old puppy likes playing tug much more than any of us in the family do. He immediately fell in love with this toy. We attached the severed arm of another toy to it, which has a squeaker and that made it even more exciting. I want to give it more than 3 stars, but I can't because as is, it really is kind of dangerous. Because of the large loop the ball is attached to, a dog could get seriously hurt. My little (ok, he's not little since he's over 70 pounds already) guy shows in the video one way it could be a problem. They can get a leg caught in the loop, and get twisted up, harming their leg. Thankfully he didn't this time but it could easily happen. Worse, a dog might get their neck in the loop and have fatal results. All it would take to fix it is a thicker, shorter, single cord going from the main piece to the toy instead of the thin loop. We are going to fix it, but as is, PLEASE don't let your dog play with it if you aren't right there to help them.

Great chew toy for large, tough chewers
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
My dog is a heavy, strong chewer over 100 lbs who will chew this for an hour. It lasts, keeps him occupied and the smell isn’t terrible. Love the large size for a larger dog. Great buy.

Great for my aggressive chewers

Wears my Labs out. Fred the yellow lab chooses this pig ear over all his nyla and natural chews out of the toy box all the time. This is the 4th one in his 6 years. They have lasted long and when new are large enough I don’t have to worry about choking. As they get down in size I throw them just as a precaution. The only con I can think of is Fred loves to slam it down on the pergola floor which makes for a very loud clacky sound and it scares the $%^ out of me. He of course thinks it’s funny so he picks it up and continues to do it. As long as he and his brother Willie can chew I will always have these in their toy box.

Awesome bone for all dogs!

My dogs LOVE this pig ear! It is very lightweight and easy for any dog, from my Great Dane to my Maltipoo, to carry and chew on. It has no odor, yet the dogs were interested immediately after smelling it. The pig ear is perfect for every dog in our household and keeps them busy for hours. Since it is curved, it is easy for them to hold on to and to pick up. We have had this bone for a few weeks, and it has lasted through our little dogs, fosters, and Great Dane! The bone is very durable, and based on the previous bones we’ve gotten from Pet Qwerks, I’m guessing it’s going to last quite a while! I recommend this to anyone wanting a long-lasting bone for their pups, especially those tough chewers!
