Grief took the form of inquiry: How can you reckon with the sudden death of someone whom, your entire life, was right beside you? The title of Maps and Atlases' new album, Lightlessness Is Nothing New, serves to foreshadow an emotionally and musically dynamic collection of songs that contemplates the jolt of loss and the strain of longing to music that, against our better judgment, makes us want to dance. I want to be the only one who has this, so don’t buy it!

I got it in coffee brown and it is gorgeous. It feels like soft, supple, rich leather. The size and sturdiness are perfect, especially if you have to keep quite a few things organized over the course of a long day. Having a rich burgundy interior color is just one of the thoughtful touches with this design. That makes it easier to find things! The zippers and fasteners are high quality. The bag oozes a richness that’s really impressive. Chic, fabulous, well-made, and very useful. Just the right size and just the right number of compartments. Astonishing value. Everything. Love.
