The book by the historian of clothing, re-enactor of material culture of different eras, artist and sculptor Serhii Shamenkov tells and shows what the men of war looked like - warriors who from ancient times to the present were, served and fought on the territory of modern Ukraine. The richly illustrated edition contains artistic reconstructions of the appearance of warriors, based on sources and the latest works of researchers of the material world of ancient eras. The publication publishes reconstructions of soldiers of the Copper, Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages, soldiers of the ancient states of the Northern Black Sea region and nomadic horsemen of the Ukrainian steppes, ancient Germans and Slavs, ancient Russian soldiers and knights of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Crimean Tatars and Ottoman Turks , soldiers of the Commonwealth of Nations and Ukrainian Cossacks, soldiers of the imperial armies and Ukrainian armed forces of the 20th century, as well as soldiers who are currently defending Ukraine from external aggression.

Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
