The former Average White Band drummer has played with a who's who of the music business, including Mindi Abair, Brian Auger Oblivion Express, Anita Baker, Ray Barretto, George Benson, the B-52's, Johnny Cash, Eric Clapton, Donovan, George Duke, Duran Duran, The Emotions, Bryan Ferry, Roberta Flack, Peter Frampton, Aretha Franklin, David Garfield, Lincoln Goines, Jeff Golub, George Harrison, Michael Jackson, Mick Jagger, Al Jarreau, Chaka Khan, Christine McVie, Pat Metheny, Bette Midler, Keb Mo, Stevie Nicks, David Sanborn, Carly Simon, James Taylor, The Temptations, Robbie Williams, Johnny Winter, and Steve Winwood. Ferrone recorded Tom Petty's acclaimed solo album Wildflowers in 1992; he subsequently joined Petty's Heartbreakers and has been a bandmember since. Steve's influences include Ringo Starr, Charlie Watts, Tony Meehan (The Shadows), Bernard Purdie, Grady Tate, Elvin Jones, Max Roach, Art Blakey, John Bonham, Clyde Stubblefield, Al Jackson Jr., Harvey Mason, and Jack DeJohnette. Slim but capable

I've had my old wallet for over two decades, it's warren and the edges are starting to fall apart and I thought I'd be proactive and get a new one before it was completely useless.
With all the new slim minimalist designs I was intregeed. This is what I found out, at least for my needs. These new elastic card clips, are nice size wise, are not what the are advertised to be. They are small in your pocket but you need another place for the items you don't use everyday. So as far as being slim and efficient they are misleading. Unless you plan ahead you won't have what you need, say health insurance cards oops forgot them cause I don't use them everyday. Ones with cash clips or elastic bands aren't what they are cracked up to be either. To pull out a bill you need to take all the bills out unfold then and then refold the and squeeze the back in the clip, not covenant.
Next I tried a bi-fold card holder with a money clip. This solved the having everything I needed even if I didn't use it everyday but still had the cash usability issue which required less folding but still needed to pull all the bills out to use. Plus it wasn't any dinner or smaller then my old wallet.
Then I found this wallet, it was pretty much the same as my old one minus one card slot due to the visible ID slot. So in the end this was the perfect wallet for me. Not sure what my old wallet was as the leather is very well worn but I'm guessing it is the same brand.
One other thing this wallet is not scan protected which the other slim wallets were. But you can buy cheap sleeves to place on either side to protect against this if your concerned. One benefit of not having this feature is the ability to keep your key card in your wallet and have it work. Again slim but needing multiple place for your items is not efficient, was not a fan of the carabineer I had to also carry while using the slim wallets.

Slim and elegant, beautiful leather

I bought this wallet for my son for his 36th birthday. I love that it is a true Fossil wallet and all that goes with anything that is a Fossil product. Style, masculine elegance, beautiful soft grain leather, and the Fossil logo embedded on the front, right bottom of the billfold. It came in different colors but I chose the soft brown one. This is also very sleek, has plenty of compartments for ID, cash, credit and business cards, and it is RFID blocked. I didn't realize when I purchased this that it is to be worn in the front pocket of the pant. It is a fashion made for men who don't appreciate a wallet in the back. It can be very uncomfortable and someone can easily lift the wallet out of the back pocket...So Fossil is producing this item to wear in the front for easy access and protection. It is small but no less accommodating. I showed it to one of my other son's and he wished I'd get one for him, and he is very fashion-forward, but practical. So I'm very pleased with my purchase although I haven't heard from the birthday boy yet! Also it came in the usual Fossil tin box that all their products are housed in-original with a bit of funk, perfect for any aged man.
