Bubbles are a great example of space within an allocated zone, and most kids LOVE BUBBLES! It gives a physical imagining to an invisible concept.
I do not use big words or acronyms that take the child out of the book, asking 'what does that mean?', a light rhyming story that can be a great conversation opener on what personal space means to YOUR family.
We all have a bubble and value our personal space layers. As a neurodivergent individual, personal space is paramount to me. I don't just like and value my personal space, it is critical for my headspace to be able to function.
