New sealed copy. 2025 remastered reissue. Remastered by Bernie Grundman.

Break Like the Wind is the 1992 comeback album from fictional British heavy metal band Spinal Tap, the satirical creation of Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer. Arriving eight years after the mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap, the record finds the band fully embracing its absurd mythology and parodying the overblown excess of 1980s arena rock while experimenting with a tongue-in-cheek range of genres.

The album’s title track plays on the double meaning of “break wind” and “move like the wind,” setting the tone for an album that mixes clever wordplay with meticulous musical craftsmanship. “Bitch School” lampoons glam-metal machismo, while “All the Way Home,” presented in the film as the band’s first-ever song, channels skiffle-era British pop. Other tracks such as “The Sun Never Sweats” and “Clam Caravan” expand on Spinal Tap’s fictional discography referenced throughout the film’s lore.

The CD’s original 18-inch “extra-long box” packaging mocked the wasteful longbox trend in early 1990s retail. Adding to the joke, the liner notes—written by Steely Dan’s Walter Becker—ignore the band entirely, instead providing a mock-technical deep dive on imaginary studio equipment.

Blurring satire and musicianship, Break Like the Wind stands as both a comic triumph and a surprisingly solid rock album, proving once again that Spinal Tap’s parody cuts as sharply as the music it imitates.

Good value
I like that I can buy these in large quantities. Get a little soft with liquids after sitting for a while. There’s sturdier bowls on the market but these work well for the price.

Will buy again.
I've already bought these twice. The first batch, bottom bowl had a slice in it, like someone had cut it while opening the box, but I didn't use a knife to open them, so it had to have been part of a bigger box. Anyway, it was just the one, the very last bowl. That was a surprise with my cereal, lol.

Sturdier than regular weight bowls
Strong coated paper bowls. Sturdier than the regular weight bowls. I use them for cereal, snacks, and as disposable cat bowls.

Good strong forks
Number of Items: 500
I was looking for some good, strong forks for our office breakroom. Strong enough for Texas BBQ or anything else we might throw at them. These forks can handle the job! The spoons and knives are also very good, and I also order our10 and 16 oz paper coffee cups and lids from Comfy Package. Good products at a good price - hard to find!
