Large, fine quality, studio pottery bread bin or storage jar by Muchelney Pottery (stamped).It's very hard to walk passed this without stroking it! A wonderfully shaped and tactile large rotund traditional bread crock (or for general storage). Hand thrown using local clay and then wood fired to give a lovely toasted look, made by the family of master potters at Muchelney Pottery in Somerset, England. In excellent condition, it looks hardly used. As recommended by House & Garden magazine. Overall height: 31cm approx. Overall width: 33cm
