An antidote to the usual surveys of structure, the book presents group theory, Galois theory, and classical ideal theory in a framework emphasizing proof of important theorems.Chapter I (Set Theory) covers the basics of sets. Chapter II (Group Theory) is a rigorous introduction to groups. It contains all the results needed for Galois theory as well as the Sylow theorems, the Jordan-Holder theorem, and a complete treatment of the simplicity of alternating groups. Chapter III (Field Theory) reviews linear algebra and introduces fields as a prelude to Galois theory. In addition there is a full discussion of the constructibility of regular polygons. Chapter IV (Galois Theory) gives a thorough treatment of this classical topic, including a detailed presentation of the solvability of equations in radicals that actually includes solutions of equations of degree 3 and 4 ― a feature omitted from all texts of the last 40 years. Chapter V (Ring Theory) contains basic information about rings and unique factorization to set the stage for classical ideal theory. Chapter VI (Classical Ideal Theory) ends with an elementary proof of the Fundamental Theorem of Algebraic Number Theory for the special case of Galois extensions of the rational field, a result which brings together all the major themes of the book.
The writing is clear and careful throughout, and includes many historical notes. Mathematical proof is emphasized. The text comprises 198 articles ranging in length from a paragraph to a page or two, pitched at a level that encourages careful reading. Most articles are accompanied by exercises, varying in level from the simple to the difficult.

Love it! Can’t wait to buy a second one!

Worth every penny!! This rack is pricy, but it’s awesome. Definitely wish the price was a little better, but I still plan on buying a second one to fit more of my spices. Super easy to install and the glide feature is really smooth. Bottles and lids are quality material and overall really pretty design. Love that it comes with TONS of spice label options for every spice you could imagine! Fit in my standard depth cabinet that is 12” deep (and I have inset cabinet doors and there was still plenty of room for it). You can easily pull it out and read the labels.

Aesthetic & Functional
Size: Left Facing
Good use of vertical space. It feels very secure and sturdy once mounted. It comes with everything you need, there’s a label for every spice and variation of that spice you can think of (different labels for the same spice but whole vs ground) and plenty of jars, with a few extra. Very well thought out.
The tops were also standard enough to fit some of my existing spice jars so I didn’t even need to transfer those ones I just swapped lids and/or added a label.
I previously had a different pull out spice rack with two flat shelves but it was a pain to find a specific spice without moving some out of the way, and it held maybe half as many jars as this one. This is an easy organization project that will free up a ton of horizontal cabinet space and makes finding spices while cooking significantly easier.
If you do want to use your existing jars, make sure they have a flat side, as cylinder shaped jars roll around a bit when you slide it out. I just transferred my spices with round jars into the provided jars so wasn’t an issue for me!
Really great value, especially considering how much the kit comes with!

Spicy racks

I bought these as I needed to organize my spice cabinet. I was using a lazy Suzanne and the spices kept falling off them. These fit perfectly in the cabinet,I attached them using the command Velcro stickers that come off easy. I am in an apartment. They are strong enough to allow the shelves to slide out.

Great Quality, but Check Cabinet Height Carefully

I am so, so sad these iSpecle Pull Out Spice Racks did not fit in my kitchen cabinets. I thought I had checked, but the most my cabinets can take with the nonadjustable shelves is 9", and these are a little over 9.5" tall at the metal rack side. They may not fit where I intended to use them, but they appear to be good quality and really help with organization. They look nice and slide in and out well, so I fully intend to find another way to use them. Maybe under the bathroom sink where smaller items also like to cluster.
