It is the year 1841 and Lord Pyotr Stahlbaum, a self proclaimed millionaire of military roots, is all set to marry off his 16 year old daughter Clara to a desirable suitor. He has hatched a plan to combine the Stahlbaum familyÕs annual Christmas ball with ClaraÕs debutante and has invited eligible bachelors from all over the land to fight for her hand in marriage. Too bad all Clara wants to do is play dolls with her sister Louise. But, she must play the part and aims to please her Father by dancing with her suitors. Thankfully, her godfather Theodor Drosselmeyer, a toymaker and work associate of PyotrÕs, arrives with a gift Ð a beautifully handcrafted nutcracker doll.

Clara instantly falls in love with the doll and is devastated when her younger brother Fritz breaks the nutcrackerÕs arm! Clara patches it up the best she can, but canÕt stop herself returning at midnight to visit her dear nutcracker. She is shocked to find that he has transformed into the fully sized Prince Nikolaus and is being attacked by three foul man-sized rats! Nikolaus chases them away Ð and Clara faints from the stress.

Determined to prove that it wasnÕt a dream, Clara returns the following night and finds Nikolaus waiting for her. He tells her about the war in his land and Clara agrees to help him fight against the evil Mouse King Mysha and save his beautiful country once and for all. She even finds herself falling in love with Nikolaus along the way...

I’ve used Castrol EDGE in a couple of our vehicles and always come back to it for consistent performance. It extends the time between oil changes and holds up well under both daily driving and highway mileage. We don't "extend the time" though. It's changed, on the dot, every time. The consistency and quality of the oil's condition at change, though, is easily able to be seen that it would go for much longer. Engine runs quieter, and I’ve noticed better fuel efficiency over time compared to conventional oil. Excellent choice for long oil change intervals.

I'm a former dealership mechanic and for years I used whatever we had in the bulk tank which was usually Valvoline conventional. My last job was at a German car dealership. Castrol was the oil recommended by the German manufacturers and that's when I started using Castrol. In my experience Castrol is an excellent oil. My 2014 Ford just rolled over 242,000 miles and even with factory 10,000 mile oil change intervals, from what I can see through the oil fill the top end of the engine is still clean. I've never had to remove the valve cover. It's using about a quart between oil 10,000 mile oil changes which is great because when it was new it used about a 1/2 quart between changes.
