Six Questions Your The Dailey Method Franchise Financial Model Must Answer

We built this franchise unit financial model using our own research into boutique fitness economics and high-end studio operations. Key assumptions like membership fees, specialized labor costs, and royalty structures are pre-populated with researched data and are fully editable. With a year-one EBITDA of $125,000 and a three-month path to break-even, this model provides a realistic look at unit-level performance.

When will the studio turn a profit?

Based on the data, this unit hits its stride quickly, reaching breakeven by March 2026, just three months after launch. When analyzing profitability of a boutique fitness franchise, we see Year 1 EBITDA at $125,000 scaling to $787,000 by Year 5 as membership matures and corporate contracts grow. Still, you need to maintain high retention to keep those margins healthy over the long haul.

Maximize Unit Margins

  • Optimize class schedules for throughput
  • Upsell digital performance packages
  • Control laundry and cleaning costs
[dynamic_pic9]

How much capital is required?

You will need approximately $575,000 to get the doors open, plus a cash buffer for the ramp-up phase. The largest capital expenditure items are the $250,000 for leasehold improvements and $110,000 for specialized fitness equipment to meet brand standards. This total includes the $35,000 franchise fee and $70,000 for specialized mirrors and flooring.

Major Capital Outlays

  • Leasehold improvements: $250,000
  • Fitness equipment: $110,000
  • Mirrors and flooring: $70,000

What is the expected return?

The ROI analysis projects an IRR of 3.13% and a 5-year payback period, which is standard for high-investment boutique fitness. While the initial return on equity is 1.36, the real value lies in the Year 5 cash flow of over $780,000. This franchise unit investment and return on investment calculator helps you see how scaling revenue to $1.6M transforms your bottom line.

Key Investor Metrics

  • 5-year payback period
  • 3.13% Internal Rate of Return
  • 1.36 Return on Equity
[dynamic_pic11]

What is the break-even point?

You hit the break-even date in March 2026, assuming you hit your initial membership targets. The biggest hurdle is the $9,000 monthly rent, so your volume of recurring membership fees must ramp up fast to cover these fixed costs. Financial planning for opening a wellness studio franchise requires a heavy focus on pre-opening sales to shorten this gap.

Speed to Profit

  • Pre-sell memberships 60 days early
  • Secure corporate wellness contracts
  • Monitor instructor hours vs attendance
[dynamic_pic12]

What is the cash runway?

The lowest cash point hits in August 2026 at $705,000, meaning you need to maintain a solid liquidity cushion during the first six months. This comprehensive franchise unit budget template accounts for the timing gap between your $250,000 build-out and your first month of full operations. If construction or permitting delays the launch, that cash runway will shrink defintely fast.

Cash Flow Protection

  • Phase equipment delivery payments
  • Negotiate rent abatement for build-out
  • Delay non-essential front desk hires
[dynamic_pic13]

How do scenarios impact results?

Switching between Low, Medium, and High scenarios shows how a 10% dip in membership retention delays payback by a full year. In the High case, fitness franchise business model financial forecasting shows that hitting $1.6M in revenue by Year 5 significantly boosts your store-level EBITDA. The model helps you see how small changes in average ticket price impact your ability to service debt.

Reaching the High Case

  • Boost member retention programs
  • Increase average ticket via workshops
  • Optimize local marketing execution

Burned my already sensitive feet, too big
Color: Pink & Beige, Size: Medium/Large(fits size 8 to 11)
Feels icky, and the heat gets trapped and literally felt like my feet were being burned by these. The bottoms of these feel prickly and they are way too big. You have to sit still and cannot walk in them.

Just as good as paraffin wax
Color: Pink & Beige, Size: Medium/Large(fits size 8 to 11)
I might prefer these socks over paraffin wax. They are comfy and very moisturizing. I use these socks once a week to keep the heels and soles of my feet moisturized between pedicures. I rinse with warm, soapy water then hang to dry. They are hard to walk in, but there's a saying printed in the socks that's says something to the effect of "take a break, stay off your feet" lol I love that as a reminder to put my feet up and relax

Love these!
Color: Pink & Beige, Size: Small(fits up to size 7)
Love these! As I write this review, I’m sitting in my recliner with these on. I have had other silicone socks in the past and would like to share a few of the things that I have learned. These fit great! The others were 2-3 sizes too big because you could not order a size. I wear a size 7 women’s shoe. I got the smaller size. I walked around my apartment in my old ones and they got kinda yucky. Now, I sit in my recliner, put them on and chill for a few hours. I now take them off and put in a ziplock bag so they stay nice and clean (no cat hair!). I use them once a week usually on Saturday or Sunday as I’m a working girl. Also, I use Auqaphor before I put them on and put cotton socks on after I’m finished. Your feet will be SO soft. This is not a one and done…I do this every week especially during sandal season! I know this was lengthy and I hope you got some tips.

Absolute game changer for chronically dry feet/cracked heels
Size: S (up to size 7)-Beige
I had recently bought a pair of silicone heel/ankle wraps to fill out my boot a little since I noticed my heels were lifting when I was skating. I tested them out around the house and noticed they left my heels softer while the rest of my sockless feet got quite dry. So I got these full foot silicone socks to see the effect of having my whole foot covered. I slather the entirety of my feet with Dr. Scholl's Severe Cracked Heel Restoring Balm (love how convenient it is to apply it to my feet with the solid stick form) and then slip them into these silicone socks. After just a couple hours, when I pull out my feet they're (a teeny bit sweaty at first), but then overall soft and smooth and have absorbed the balm fully leaving barely any residue in the silicone sock. I find these silicone socks generally comfortable; I wear them in the evenings while relaxing on the couch, take them off after a couple hours and let my feet breathe a bit, and then reapply my balm and socks and wear them to bed. If I wake up in the middle of the night, which I almost always do (not because of the socks), I'll take the socks off and allow my feet to breathe again. I wear a woman's size 6 shoe and the small size is pretty comfortable. However, I made the mistake of wearing them while being on my feet for a couple hours straight during household chores -- they must've somehow cut off my circulation a bit with the standing, so I wouldn't recommend wearing these silicone socks while being active. And since they're not exactly my foot size, they slide around sometimes and will start to feel tight at my big toe. But if that happens, I just tug on the toe area of the sock to give my big toe more wiggle room and problem solved. Prior to wearing these socks, I was soaking and doing heavy duty exfoliation of my feet every week. These socks seem like they'll work to help me extend the time between soakings and exfoliations. The 5 pack is a great value. So far none have torn, so they seem rather durable. Not sure what I could even do to tear a hole in these.
