WINNER OF THE PULITZER PRIZE Written with the style of a great novelist and the intrigue of a Cold War thriller, Embers of War is a landmark work that will forever change your understanding of how and why America went to war in Vietnam. Tapping newly accessible diplomatic archives in several nations, Fredrik Logevall traces the path that led two Western nations to tragically lose their way in the jungles of Southeast Asia. He brings to life the bloodiest battles of France's final years in Indochina--and shows how, from an early point, a succession of American leaders made disastrous policy choices that put America on its own collision course with history. An epic story of wasted opportunities and deadly miscalculations, Embers of War delves deep into the historical record to provide hard answers to the unanswered questions surrounding the demise of one Western power in Vietnam and the arrival of another. Eye-opening and compulsively readable, Embers of War is a gripping, heralded work that illuminates the hidden history of the French and American experiences in Vietnam. Very disappointed
Unfortunately I ended up being very disappointed with this purchase, after about two weeks of use, it just stopped performing. Not sure what happened but it just stopped releasing the ball and I don't know why, it had no flexibility left to it. I'm not doing a very good job of trying to explain why it quit working but suffice it to say, it became useless after a couple of weeks. Broke my neighbors dog's heart, lol.

Quality dog toy
Color: Blue, Pattern Name: Toucan
My dog loves this toy. He is a chewer and this toy has been durable is still in one piece after several months of attempted destruction. I will be buying again from this company. Quality stuff and good price.

Puppies love!!
Color: Green, Pattern Name: Dinosaur
Our mixed mutt dogs are aggressive chewers and destroy every toy! This one was reasonably priced and is still together! The girls love their baby! One of the best toys I’ve found!

Dogs love it, but it lasted 10 minutes
Color: Blue Yellow, Pattern Name: Alligator
Five stars for the dogs both loving this thing. I have a Catahoula/pitbull and a Great Pyrenees/Red Heeler. They absolutely loved this toy but it only lasted about ten minutes before it was pulled apart and losing its innards. They didn’t really care - they each took half and proceeded to tear it to shreds with great joy. Two stars for durability, but since they’re big dogs who are happiest when chewing on things I figure the toy deserves to be rounded up from a three to a four. Small dogs probably would still love it without the strength to yank it apart so quickly.
