What has been done in recent times in the fields of archaeology, linguistics, history, anthropology, and comparative oral literature, not to mention literary criticism itself, has put the whole Homeric problem in so new a light that now above all else the interested reader of Homer, whether he reads translations or the original, looks earnestly for a synoptic view, a framework by which he can shape his critical reactions within the bounds of rational and historical probability. What follows in the succeeding chapters is an attempt to formulate such a synoptic view, to bring together--for the first time, I believe--the results of modern specialized disciplines relating to Homeric studies and the kind of criticism which, twenty years ago, was called "New," but which no, in modified forms, has become simply this era's characteristic way of approaching such problems as imagery, action, and the poetic consciousness. --Cedric H. It’s great for aggressive chewers
Style: Tipsy Rosé
My dog loves this treat ball! I like the shape because it doesn’t roll under furniture!

Her favorite
Style: Tipsy Rosé
Our weimaraner Gracie loves her wine glass. Whenever it's empty she drops it in front of us to have it refilled. It's very durable and cute, it's easy to fill plus she has no trouble carrying it around. We'll be getting another so she doesn't have to continue to hide it from our other girl. It's quite obviously her favorite.

Good for smaller dogs too
Style: Tipsy Rosé
This dog toy states it's for large dogs (50+ lbs) but I bought it for my 12 lbs dog anyway, and Im glad I did because she loves it. Keeps her entertained. So much better than just handing her treats. When I hear it rolling across the floor I know she's busy and I dont need to worry about what she's up to. The hole is a good size for treats to fit in but she still has to work to get them out.
