Very dense tasty, healthy grass. We use 4 our own hand blended mix of Rye, Wheat, Barley and Oat organic non-GMO grasses. The organic soil will keep the grass growing for 6 months!

100% made in US. This heavy-duty planter comes with, Organic soil, organic non-GMO seeds, hydroponic clay balls for drainage, natural burlap to separate the soil from the drainage and 10”x10” planter

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. remove the clay balls from the bag and rinse with water.

2. Pour the balls into the base and level

3. Place the fabric over the balls

4. Spread about 3 cups of soil over the fabric   Keep about 2 of the soil aside.

5. Water soil well

6. Spread the seeds over the wet soil to completely cover the surface. Use the whole seed package

7. Carefully spread the remaining soil over the seeds. 

    

STARTER FERTILIZER   Small bag of brown powder 

ADD HALF TO 16oz of water.

Water the soil from the top.

In about 4-6 days the grass will start to sprout.

AFTER SEEDS SPROUT

ADD THE OTHER HALF OF THE STARTER FERTILIZER TO 

16oz Of WATER AND WATER THE TOP

To water: 

 Pick a corner and push back a small amount of soil until you see the clay balls.  Using a faucet or watering can add water to the clay balls until the water reaches the level of the soil.

No need to get the soil wet directly.  The roots will grow into the balls for water.

Things to know;

The soil on top will push up because of the high density of seeds.  This is normal. You can leave it and the plant will grow into it.

Because there are 4 different kinds of grass, at the start they will grow at different rates.   They will grow to all the same length within a few days.

Grass grows best with indirect light.  The natural light in your room is enough.

Keep trimmed about 3”-4” for longest life.

When the grass starts to turn brown, it is time to get a refill package.

KEEP THE CLAY BALLS FOR YOUR NEXT PLANTING. THEY ARE REUSABLE FOR LIFE. NOT NEED TO REPLACE.
