The Precor AMT 835 Adaptive Motion Trainer is one of the most versatile pieces of commercial cardio equipment ever designed. Open Stride technology allows exercisers to fluidly change their stride path in real time — from a short stepping motion to a full 36-inch running stride — without pressing buttons or changing machines. The result is a natural, intuitive workout that adapts to the user's movement rather than forcing a fixed motion pattern.

Twenty resistance levels ranging from 20 watts to 375 watts provide smooth, progressive intensity for every fitness level. The dual-action handlebars engage the chest, back, shoulders, and arms through a natural push-pull motion, turning every session into a total-body calorie-burning workout. The Stride Dial gives real-time visual feedback on stride length and targeted muscle groups.

The P30 console features an LED display with quick-start functionality, numeric keypad, and six preset workout programs: Manual, Interval, Variety, Performance, Heart Rate, and Weight Loss. Electronic readouts include resistance level, distance, strides per minute, calories, heart rate, watts, METs, stride length, and more.
