Become the proud owner of the 2021 1 oz Silver American Eagle $1 Coin BU Type 1 & 2! The 2021 Silver American Eagles has an updated design for the 35th Anniversary of the coin program. The Silver American Eagle coin program is the official silver bullion program of the United States. First struck in 1986, the Silver Eagles see high demand year after year. This year, for the 35th anniversary, the US Mint has announced a redesign of the reverse for the American Gold and Silver Eagles. This redesign puts in place brand new security features within the design, including an anti-counterfeit reeded edge that appears like a "gap" variation on the coin. The new reverse for both the Gold and Silver Eagles showcases the American Bald Eagle in two different depictions. For the Silver Eagle, you will see an American Eagle in mid-flight. Additionally, the obverse was modified to resemble the original Walking Liberty design even more.

The obverse portrays the historic design by Adolph A Weinman’s “Walking Liberty.” This illustration was on the silver half-dollar from 1916-1947 and was restored on this coin. Restored elements include Weinman's initials, the year of mintage font, as well as minor details for Liberty's eye, bonnet, flag, and the solar rays. Lady Liberty walks towards the setting sun with oak and laurel branches in her left arm, outstretching her right arm to the horizon. She also has the American flag draped over her shoulders.

The new reverse design shows a bald eagle flying while carrying an oak branch, perhaps back to its nest or to create a new nest. The eagle is surrounded by inscriptions including the country, weight, purity, denomination, and the US motto “E Pluribus Unum”

Excellent 11 hole jig
Size: 11 Holes
This jig worked excellently. It doesn't have any instructions, so I watched the video of it. I set it up the way the video showed, and I got decent results. Deducted a star since no instructions.

Good jig
Size: 11 Holes
The jig itself is great. The markings make it easy to be consistent; the design is well thought-out; and the build quality is good. I would recommend replacing the drill bit, though. A nice brad point will serve you better.

In the trash after a single use
Size: 11 Holes
For context, I’m a seasoned woodworker and always evaluate tools with the price in mind. This seemed like a good deal and in fact when it arrived, it looked and felt like reasonable quality for the price. Unhappily, the first bookshelf I drilled was off from side to side by almost 3 mm which would make a really wobbly shelf situation. It took a while to figure out what was happening, but I finally realized the metal bushings that guide the drill bit are so soft that they cored out from contact with the bit even though I was cautious to not put the bit in under power but to get it in the bushing and aligned before drilling. Still, the bushings started angling immediately. So when you then use those angled bushings to set the pin for the next series, it’s off by a little bit. Then the next is off by a little more…. By the time I drilled holes up and down a 6’ high shelf, the bushings were out of square, the holes were 3 mm out of alignment, and the shelf sides were firewood. Back to the drawing board and this goes in the trash, I’m afraid.
