The 1988 Studio Debut Crustcore Classic From The Uk's Deviated Instinct. Presented On Vinyl With Original Sleeve Art. One of the earlier & best examples of the crustcore movement which was enjoying an uprising in the late 1980's, Norwich's primo kings of stench-headed mayhem, Deviated Instinct, were a main force in the UK scene, starting with the classic 'Welcome to the Orgy' EP, which was among Peaceville's earliest releases. The band toured extensively with acts such as Napalm Death, Carcass, Bolt Thrower, Amebix among others in the years to follow before disbanding in 1994. Deviated Instinct were also notable favourites of the legendary John Peel; the band recording two sessions with him in the early nineties. 'Rock n Roll Conformity' was the band's debut full length album, originally released in 1988, and demonstrated a ferocity matching any of their peers. The album was recorded at Lion Studios and produced by Peaceville founder Paul "Hammy" Halmshaw. This vinyl edition of 'Rock n Roll Conformity' is presented with it's original sleeve artwork & inlay, plus contains remastered audio. Deviated Instinct also look poised to return with a long-awaited comeback release.

Get Them Excited to READ

I bought this book for my daughter's 8th birthday. She reads on a mid-third grade level and I needed some chapter books that would hold her interest. She is big on starting books but they "bore" her and don't hold her attention for 100 pages of text. I thought I'd buy her a couple of "starter" books so if she liked them we could continue the series.
She is really into Monster High right now so I thought this series might interest her. I was right. She has told me daily how much she enjoys this books and actually looks forward to her 20 minute reading time both at home and at school. Every night during bath time she tells me what she read that day.
As a book lover I am so excited to see her finally showing some interest in reading! I knew if I found the right material I could get her hooked.

... 8 year old son is having a lot of fun with this book

My 8 year old son is having a lot of fun with this book. It has a good balance of illustration and text. He has struggled to read and is considered average for his age. We have tried to get him interested in a series and have purchased many other books. Since reading Haunted library #1 he has requested the next book in the series. He also likes the Yeti files and is waiting on pins and needles for the next in that series to be released. It is such a relief to finally get him excited about reading!

Engaging

We love this entire series. We had read book 3 first & my 8 year old loved it so much we bought the rest of the series. There’s enough of a cliffhanger that you want to know who he finds next in his family.
