W przypadku oryginalnych części zamiennych, dość powszechna jest konieczność wymiany tarcz hamulcowych przy każdej wymianie klocków, natomiast w przypadku produktów EBC tarcza hamulcowa może przetrwać dwa komplety klocków, co daje znaczące oszczędności. I wcale nie oznacza to, że klocki zużywają się szybciej.
