Overall, the free-market system of the United States has so far proven to be as productive as any other system yet devised while maintaining considerable freedom for its citizens. It is truly a people's republic. But it won't work unless an overwhelming majority of its people are fully involved in playing their notes on the Maccordion and squeezing the box their way.

Appreciation of the major outlines of holistic frames of reference such as The Maccordion Format would also help enable students to project better just where and how and when in their futures both general education and vocational training concepts might be applied.

More specifically and directly comprehension and implementation of the major concepts presented in The Maccordion Format would for the first time enable college freshmen on their own to choose their best majors. Most youth today are simply overwhelmed and must choose majors (and for most, subsequent career paths) more or less blindly. They have difficulty trying to make sense of the conflicting advice and directions they receive. How to sort it all out?

The answer must be through education at the college level. And time is running out!

Regan served as Dean of the Business School at the University of San Francisco for seven years, where he also taught for twenty-five years after ten years of teaching at San Francisco State University He earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Stanford University, and his B.S. and M.B.A degrees from the University of California.
