I find this variety to be quite friendly though skittish. They are speedy and bolt when disturbed, but when they are calm you can hand-feed them. If I hold a small piece of food in front of one they will reach up to grab it (others are like SKY FOOD? ABSOLUTELY NOT). This is a fast-reproducing variety that is protein-hungry, so provide plenty of leaf litter and supplement their diet regularly.
