This LED downlight bundle includes 10 fixed downlights with an IP20 rating, making it suitable for various indoor installations. It is not water-resistant, but you can install it in multiple areas, such as hallways, home offices, pantries, bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, and storage rooms. Once installed, the downlight light beam's trajectory is stationary. So, be sure of the placements before trimming the cut-out holes.
The installation process is quick and easy. This downlight has a twist-and-lock mechanism and push-fit terminal blocks for effortless loop-in/out. It is also mains-powered, eliminating the need for an individual driver or transformer. The downlight has a GU10 lamp holder, so you can use any GU10 bulb. However, we suggest getting a dimmable GU10 lamp and a compatible dimmer switch to access its dimming function. The GU10 bulbs come in cool white, natural white, and warm white LED colours, ideal for either task or ambient lighting.
This LED downlight is insulation-coverable, allowing you to put loft insulation loosely over its rear. However, you can only do so if you use a GU10 LED bulb with a maximum power of 7w.
Our LED downlight is fire-rated to 30, 60 and 90 minutes of protection for solid joist ceilings and 30 minutes of protection for web and I-joist ceilings. Fire-rated downlights like this are made with an intumescent pad that expands when exposed to a specific temperature, blocking small crevices surrounding the downlight and preventing the fire from passing through.
The downlight has an elegant brushed chrome finish and a slimline profile, matching various design themes like modern, mid-century, rustic, classic, or a mix of styles. Additionally, Its open-can design ensures that the bulb you pair with it lasts throughout its extended lifespan.
