Created by Disneyland® Resort Creative Services Cast Member, Mike Puchalski, this commemorative pin pays tribute to the 50th Anniversary celebration and features a gold Mickey head shaped icon which includes a round spinner featuring Sleeping Beauty Castle on one side, and the famous "50" in gold on a blue background on the other. Tinker Bell and pixie dust appears on the ears. A blue banner on the bottom has "Disneyland® Resort" in gold letters on it. The Sleeping Beauty Castle side of the spinner shows the Castle decorated in its 50th Anniversary finery, with 3 white fireworks bursts in the background that form Mickey ears. Released at the "Cast Member Create-A-Pin Contest Winners Pin Release & Signing" event at the World of Disney® store, Downtown Disney® District at Disneyland® Resort. The winners of the Cast Member Create-A-Pin Contest will be on hand for a special appearance and signing on the day of release. Measurements are: 1 9/16" tall by 1 5/8" wide.
