Daron Acemoglu and James Robinson argue that different social groups prefer different political institutions because of the way they allocate political power and resources. Their book, the subject of a four-day seminar at Harvard's Center for Basic Research in the Social Sciences, was also the basis for the Walras-Bowley lecture at the joint meetings of the European Economic Association and Econometric Society in 2003 and is the winner of the John Bates Clark Medal. Daron Acemoglu is Charles P. Kindleberger Professor of Applied Economics at The Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received the 2005 John Bates Clark Medal awarded by the American Economic Association as the best economist working in the United States under age 40. He is the author of the forthcoming text Introduction to Modern Economic Growth. James A. Robinson is Professor of Government at Harvard University. He is a Harvard Faculty Associate at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs and a member of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research's Program on Institutions, Organizations, and Growth. LOVE this pillow!!!! I have 2!!!!

Well…..I have a love affair with these latex pillows. I purchased 2 of them. I have been allergic to feathers since birth and could only use latex pillows growing up. But, they became very hard to find for many years. I tried all the other kinds of pillows on the market and hated them all!!! “Won’t go flat!”….. whatever! They would go flat almost immediately. Or “Good for side sleepers!”….. NOPE!! I had a stiff neck for a week!! DONE with all of them. So,I finally got on Amazon and found this pillow. Ahhhhhh!! Loved it. Slept like a log! All night! Didn’t go flat!! No stiff neck!!! A winner!!!! Frankly,I don’t care about the cost… yeah…I know….we call have to count our change……including me. I saved to buy this pillow…..both times. AND, I would do it AGAIN!!!! And…proud to do it! So, if you have had it with all of those new prefangled so-called pillows…try this one. I would only avoid it like the plague if you are allergic to latex. Otherwise,I would definitely recommend this pillow! Wherever I go….my pillow goes. Camping, on a trip, to visit relatives…..my pillow will travel!!!!

Great pillow for specific people. If you want a firm yet soft pillow for side sleeping then it works great. Not as good for back sleepers but it's very comforting and cooling.

Great therapeutic pillow

I have been having pinch nerve issues where my fingers fall asleep with the pillow I had, so I started to search for pillows that would alleviate that and stay within a budget. Although this pillow cost more than I wanted to spend, the only other pillow that I was considering cost $100 more than this Purple pillow, so I purchased this pillow. The neck pains and pinch nerve issues are mostly gone. It is comfortable, maintains its shape and keeps you cool. I hope this pillow lasts a few years.

This Pillow Is The Greatest!

This pillow is amazing! It’s very pricey, but worth EVERY penny in both my opinion and my husband’s. My husband had been complaining about his old pillow for a while. I did some research and this pillow seemed to be the best of the best according to the reviews. But that price - yikes! I kept checking back and saw it was on sale and decided to take a chance. Bought it in the tall size (7.5 in.) and decided it would be his early birthday gift. The first night of him using it was AMAZING for both of us. He has snored like a freight train and will periodically stop breathing for 15-18 seconds throughout the night for the past 26 years that I know of. Immediately, his super loud snoring downgraded to a very low level of snoring. He said after the first night he fell asleep fast, did not wake up nearly as much and finally had no neck pain in the morning. He’s had it over a month now and says he can’t believe a pillow could make this big of a difference in his sleep quality. I can’t believe I don’t have to deal with his concert level snoring anymore. Plus, he no longer stops breathing for short intervals anymore! This pillow has been well worth the cost for us!
