This Brink Detachable European Towbar (BR-488200) offers the perfect blend of high-performance towing and premium aesthetics for your BMW 5 Series (03/2001 - 12/2010). Designed to integrate flawlessly with the E39, E60, and E61 generations, this diagonal detachable system maintains the sleek lines of your BMW when the towball is not in use.

The Brink diagonally detachable towbar is industry-leading for its user-friendly design and discrete installation. Once the towball is removed, the sleeve and swing-out socket plate are virtually invisible, ensuring your vehicle's executive design remains uncompromised. Key features include:

  • Easy installation and removal of the towbar in the receiver
  • Ergoclick: Audible and visual indicators provide instant confirmation of safe fixation
  • Protected against theft with an integrated locking system
  • Respects the car's original design and maintains rear ground clearance
  • Safe and easy operation with a swing-out socket plate
  • Securely fixed in place simply by pressing the towbar down into the receiver
  • Stowed-away ball is never in the way of parking sensors or trunk access

Please Note: A towbar is a safety critical item and not always a straightforward fitment due to vehicle manufacturing variation. We strongly recommend you get your towbar and wiring harness installed by a professional towbar or vehicle accessory fitting workshop.

Great photo essay, history of aviation and space
i'm an engineer- worked rocket motors, and various satellite programs. this book was recommended by associate after visiting the museum at Langley. The pics are super, with short descriptions, and moderate on the tech. It's an amazing pulse of this wild history, and mostly is from America's lineage. St. Louis, Mercury, Atlas, and up to current Shuttle. There's also the SST, and unique turn of the century early birds. A fine read to be shared with a youngster (my son 10, digs it), or for the history or engineering buff. amazon has it cheaper than at the museum.

Essential reading for PowerPoint presenters.
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Cliff shows details how to improve our PowerPoint presentations. He gives concrete and simple steps to transform a message into a targeted presentation. All of us have suffered from presenters who went over their allotted time because they had vital information to give us, yet we still didn't know their main point. Many have seen slide decks burdened with dozens of bullet points. Did the volume of points yield more clarity or did they dull our ability to focus on the message? Probably not. Read Cliff's book. Follow his method and you'll be a more effective presenter.

Useful with some scientific corroboration
Format: Paperback
Worth it as a primer to slide content and how it inter-relates to the delivery when giving a presentation. Very slightly laboured, like most TV documentaries nowadays - you feel they could move a bit faster (...yeah we got it the first time).

Simple and streamlined to meet anyone's needs
Format: Paperback
This book rocks! It provide a simple and structured way to define, develop and deliver a "Kick Ass" presentation that you can project or just use from the podium. It bring the audio and visual together to compliment a story to be shared. It has taken the hassel factor out of designing a presentation for anyone on any subject. Thank you!

Lasting value but degraded presentation
Format: Paperback
I've been a BBP fan since the first edition in 2005. The second edition in 2007 was a significant update and refinement. The latest, 2011 edition, is not worth buying if you already have the second edition -- the information is essentially the same but the 2011 is printed on cheap paper and the contrast between text and background for most of the illustrations is lousy, e.g. black text on a dark grey background, white text on a light grey background. I found it very difficult to read. The online version (O'Reilly Safari Books OnLine) is slightly better because it allows you to magnify the low contrast images which makes them slightly more legible. Thankfully, access to the online version is included with the ink-on-paper book free via a scratch-off, lottery ticket-type insert at the back of the book. If I had to do it again, I'd skip the paper book from Amazon and just purchase electronic access via O'Reilly. This version is more legible and you can print important pages that you might want hard copies of to highlight, mark-up, etc.
