Released on 10" vinyl in a picture sleeve replica of the original 7" art, 50 years on. Artwork derived from Peter Sinfield's original 7" sleeve art. Even by the frequently, if unintentionally, bizarre history of the UK's premier chart television show 'Top of the Pops' there are few less likely performances than that of a temporary line-up of King Crimson miming to the band's early 1970 single release 'Cat Food'. The band's first (& only) - isolated from album release - foray into the fickle world of the singles market did not, even with a TOTP appearance, produce a hit to dominate UK & worldwide charts but, along with it's non-album b side Groon, both tracks have achieved long term appeal with King Crimson fans & in KC set lists. A longer version of Cat Food would appear on the band's second studio album in May 1970, "In the Wake of Poeidon", a live version of Groon was a highlight of the Earthbound Live album while numerous studio takes were featured on both the 40th anniversary CD/DVD-A of "In the Wake of Poseidon" & the "Sailors' Tales" boxed set. Cat Food appeared in a powerful version on "The Great Deceiver" boxed set & made a lauded return to KC's repertoire in 2019's world tour. This 50th anniversary edition has been expanded to a four track release including the A & B sides of the original single, joined by a 2019 live recording, making it's first appearance on disc & a mix of the album version of Cat Food undertaken by David Singleton as part of the band's 50th anniversary digital release series - also making it's debut on disc.

...and smells good too!
This lotion seems to be making my crepe skin kinda disappear?? It is so moisturizing & the scent is heavenly. I have used it on my face but it was a little much so I had to put it on while my skin was wet with water. That seemed to do the trick. In Colorado your skin can get super dry & this product seems to replenish softness & moisture.

Extremely Helpful for Dry, Irritated Skin but Personally Too Heavy for My Face
Size: 1.35 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Style: Cicaplast Baume B5 Balm
This is one of those products that I completely understand the hype around because it truly does work very well for dry, irritated, over-processed, or compromised skin areas. The texture is rich, soothing, and very protective without having a strong fragrance, which I appreciate because heavily scented skincare products usually irritate my skin immediately.
I have found this especially helpful for dry patches, irritation from weather, over-exfoliation, and areas where the skin barrier simply feels stressed or uncomfortable. A very small amount goes a long way and the tube itself lasted much longer than I expected.
That being said, for me personally this product is simply too heavy to use regularly on my face because I am somewhat breakout-prone with richer creams. While it feels incredibly soothing, I personally prefer using it more selectively on very dry or irritated areas rather than as an all-over facial moisturizer.
The packaging arrived perfectly sealed with no leaking or damage during shipping and the product looked exactly as expected upon arrival. For the amount you receive and how little is needed per use, I also think the value is very good compared to many other barrier repair creams.
Overall, I absolutely understand why so many people love this product and I do think it is excellent for repairing and protecting irritated skin — I just personally have to be careful about where and how heavily I apply it.
