Daawat® Traditional Basmati Rice combines the exquisite aroma, pristine white luster and fluffy texture of the finest Basmati into one truly heirloom grain. Aged to perfection and grown in the foothills of the Himalayas, Daawat Traditional is a unique blend of aroma and sweet taste, making it perfect for any rice dish. Whether served with curries or used for Pulavs, Daawat Traditional Basmati Rice will enhance your dining experience and make your meal truly memorable.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: 

Soak rice 10-15 minutes for extra length (optional)

1 cup of Daawat® Traditional Basmati Rice
2 cups of water
1 tbsp. of oil/butter (optional)
pinch of salt (optional)

Stove Top: To remove excess starch from rice, rinse Daawat® Traditional Basmati Rice 1-2 times and drain. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in sauce pan with tight fitting lid. Add 1 cup rice, cover and simmer. Cook for 20 minutes* or until water is absorbed.

Microwave: Combine 1 cup rice and 2¼ cups water in a microwave-safe tray. Cover tightly with microwave-safe lid and cook on HIGH power setting for 15 minutes*. Remove from microwave.

Electric Rice Cooker: Combine 1 cup rice and 2 cups water. See rice cooker manual for specific operation.

*Cooking times are approximate.

New formula update: They ruined this product by reformulating. Used to be so hydrating, long-lasting, and the only thing that gave me relief from eczema. Now it is somehow SO drying, oily, and all around terrible. Judging by reviews here and on their website many customers are unhappy with the change. Done with Avene. Original five star review: This is a great all around lip balm, but if you struggle with perioral dermatitis/eczema then you NEED this. If I'm experiencing a flare, I slather on cicalfate+ at night but I can't exactly walk around with that during the day which is where this lip product comes in. It is calming, hydrating, and long-lasting. I have gone through more tubes than I can count. This was my first time ordering through amazon and I am happy to report I received authentic Avene.
