New Vinyl Record - Alan Parsons Project -  I Robot (MFSL)

MASTERED FROM THE ORIGINAL MASTER TAPES: ULTRADISC ONE-STEP LP ELEVATES THE AUDIOPHILE STANDARD WHILE OFFERING ONE-FLIP CONVENIENCE

Most audiophiles know Alan Parsons Project's I Robot by heart. Engineered by Parsons after he performed the same duties on Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, the 1977 record reigns as a disc whose taut bass, crisp highs, clean production, and seemingly limitless dynamic range are matched only by the sensational prog-rock fare helmed by the keyboardist. Not surprisingly, it's been issued myriad times. Can it be improved? Relish Mobile Fidelity's stupendous UltraDisc One-Step 180g 33RPM box set and the question becomes moot. Mastered from the original master tapes and pressed at RTI on MoFi SuperVinyl, I Robot comes to life with reference-setting realism on this numbered, limited-edition reissue. Boasting immaculate highs and lows, generous spaciousness, and see-through transparency that takes you into the studio with Parsons and creative partner Eric Woolfson at Abbey Road, this definitive edition is designed to demonstrate the full-range capabilities of the world's best stereo systems while offering listeners the convenience of having all the music on one LP. Featuring a nearly inaudible noise floor, this transcendent UD1S edition functions as a repeat invitation to savor reference-grade soundstages, immersive smoothness, sought-after instrumental separation, three-dimensional imaging, and consummate tonal balances. Able to be played back at high volumes without compromise or fatigue, it is a demonstration record for the ages - the likes of which are no longer being made. This is the very reason you own and invest in high-end audio gear. The special characteristics of this UD1S version extend to the premium packaging. Housed in a deluxe box, the reissue features special foil-stamped jackets and faithful-to-the-original graphics. Aurally and visually, it is made for discerning listeners who prize sound quality and production, and who desire to fully immerse themselves in everything about this conceptual landmark. Parsons' most famous record deserves nothing less.

Romantic Suspense-Incredible
Format: Kindle
This book was incredible from beginning to end. The author did a great job balancing the romance, mystery/suspense and emotional moments that made it hard to put this book down. The chemistry and banter between the two main characters was great. Their interactions had me smiling throughout the story. The kidnapper completely surprised me. I wasn’t even close in figuring out who it was either. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a story filled with heart, suspense, and unexpected twists.

4⭐️ Romantic Suspense
Format: Kindle
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I loved this book! Good plot, good story, & it kept my interest from beginning to end. 🌶️ - A little bit of spice sprinkled in. Dark Romance is usually my genre of choice. However, Romantic Thrillers are quickly becoming one of my favorite genres that I wasn’t even quite sure existed. All of the Missing Pieces fits that genre perfectly. I really enjoyed Ridley’s character! For all the loss & trauma she has gone through, she is still so willing to help others. I loved her spitfire personality. This story had me feeling all kinds of emotions while making me giggle at times. I thought I had the unsub figured out about halfway through, but I was so very wrong! What a twist. Carter & Ridley’s relationship evolved perfectly. Ridley got the closure that she needed with her HEA. ‼️Possible spoiler ahead! ‼️I did find it hard to believe that Emerson was able to solve the case within a few minutes but wasn’t able to remember those same exact details over the course of 10 years? It felt a little too fast to me. Almost as if the author was trying to wrap up the story a little too quickly. On a side note, I wish there was a spin-off about Trey & Emerson!

The perfect romantic mystery
Format: Kindle
Honestly, this book’s hold over me was a little worrying. The story opens with a tragic event, introducing Ridley Sawyer, who immediately captured my heart. She’s tenacious, motivated, witty, and complicated. I connected with her character so quickly that she felt like a friend by the second chapter—something that doesn’t happen often. I also fell in love with her cat, Princess Tater, who had me giggling and kicking my feet. This little feline terror was so well-written that I was emotionally invested in her welfare. I would have rioted if anything happened to her or that adorable van she and Ridley lived in, which doubled as a mobile podcast station. The story beautifully portrays the other fur babies as both sources of emotional comfort and brave protectors. I looked forward to each scene that included them. Catherine painted a detailed picture of the small town and everyone living there. It perfectly sets the scene without upstaging the characters or the book’s mystery. Colt was also a fantastic character. His grumpiness blended well with Ridley’s sunny personality, but they both had a darkness that few could see. Their tragic pasts brought them together and made them grow in ways I didn’t anticipate as the story unfolded. I loved how the slow burn and spice were incredibly hot but subtle enough to enhance the story without overpowering it. I couldn’t figure out who did it, so the reveal was a complete shock. I had doubts, but the author kept me guessing until the end. My hats off to her for sending me in every direction trying to solve this mystery without successfully figuring out who it was. I yelled, and my husband came running when it was revealed. 😂 I don’t give spoilers, but if you love small-town romances, captivating characters, and true crime mysteries, you’ll be hooked on this book. It had the perfect ending, resolving all my questions and giving me more than I expected. This is my first Catherine Cowles book, but definitely not my last. Her writing style is engaging and punctuated with gorgeous sentences I eagerly highlighted on my Kindle to share with others. I highly recommend curling up in your favorite chair, grabbing a snack, and getting lost in this incredible story. You won’t regret it.

Ridley & Colter 😍
Format: Kindle
Romance, Heartache, mystery & banter all wrapped up in one book. I love me a Catherine Cowles book but having Ridley being a true crime podcaster was epic. I absolutely loved the mystery in the book and the heat between the two main characters. I also love a MMC alpha! You cannot go wrong with any of this authors book but this one was a great stand alone with connections to some of her other book characters.

Solidly Enjoyable Romantic Suspense
Format: Kindle
All the Missing Pieces by Catherine Cowles Catherine Cowles delivers a compelling romantic suspense novel in All the Missing Pieces, the story of Colt and Ridley. Colt is the dedicated sheriff of Shady Cove, a quiet small town shaken by past tragedies, including the attempted kidnapping of his sister, Emerson. Ridley, a true crime podcaster, arrives in town searching for answers about her twin sister Avery’s disappearance on the night before their college graduation. What begins as an enemies-to-lovers dynamic between Colt and Ridley slowly transforms into a poignant story of healing, trust, and love. This book is a perfect blend of heartfelt emotion and gripping suspense. Ridley’s grief and determination to uncover the truth about Avery are deeply tragic, adding layers to her character and her growing connection with Colt. The small-town setting and the suspenseful plot keep the pages turning, and the romance feels both organic and tender. Cowles’ writing is on par with her other works—effortless and engaging. I found myself completely immersed, reading and listening to the book in a single evening. (Mild Spoiler!!!) My only critique is the identity of the killer, which felt too far outside the realm of possibility, slightly diminishing the story’s otherwise strong credibility. Overall, All the Missing Pieces is a thoroughly enjoyable read, balancing emotional depth with suspense and romance. Fans of Catherine Cowles and the romantic suspense genre won’t be disappointed.
