High Performance Chewblet Ice Production

Automatically transports ice through a tube with RIDE® technology from up to 75 feet (22.9 m) away, producing consumer-preferred Chewblet ice that is quiet and dispenses reliably.

Revolutionary Scale Inhibiting Design

Produces ice with 15% the TDS of incoming water, quarantines and regularly expels scale-producing dissolved solids to dramatically reduce scale buildup, extending the time between descaling and reducing or eliminating the need for expensive scale treatment. Uses 35% less water than comparable cubers.

Durable and Attractive Construction

Designed for longevity with no required regular bearing inspection or replacement, and an upgraded, easy-to-read LED operating status and diagnostic display.

Enhanced Sanitation

Features Agion® silver-based antimicrobial product protection on key ice and water contact components, a floatless, sealed design that inhibits biofilm formation, and a semi-automatic cleaning and sanitizing system.

The history offers a detailed and well organized account of the Royal Navy as it transitioned from sail to steam. Coverage included personalities, technology, tactics and strategy. The combination provided a complete appreciation of the dynamics at play, some unexpectedly. The details might be a bit much for a casual reader but offered plenty of avenues for research not available or compiled in one source. I look forward to the final volume, which should describe another watershed era.

It is still excellent and authoritative, just different than I expected. I really appreciate a somewhat different perspective than I have found in some other books. For example, any discussion of Jackie Fisher I have read previously seemed to border on the hagiographic, whereas here he seems to get a very evenhanded appraisal. A great book, highly recommended.
