Free Love, the artists formerly known as Happy Meals return to Optimo Music with Extreme Dance Anthems, a phantasmic mini-album from their hearts to yours. They say: "We recorded Extreme Dance Anthems in our recently moved studio, 'Full Ashram Celestial Garden' which is now situated in a building that holds both a church below us and a sex club next door. Most of the tracks were formed from late-night sessions that we started to kind of ritualistically hold, inspired from a particular thought or idea that we later cut down and did a live mixdown of. The music is about physicality and the metaphysical - it is about a recontextualization of the ineffable as a center point of existence which in turn influences how we engage with everything around us. A celebration of the unquantifiable, unspeakable, indivisible experience as the throne from which all ideas are derived. Even though the world is fucked - we are here. On the face of it - I realize that this description might just seem like apolitical hippy bullshit but fuck that - as a deliberate result of the modern political landscape, our societies' individual and collective disengagement with the metaphysical has led us to treat other humans, animals and our environment like resourceful statistics rather than something that actually holds any inherent value. An Inner Revolution of the foundations of our reality in a way that reintroduces the essence of existence, and not merely it's describable derivatives, into the conversation of how we should live our lives informs our perception of the world in a way that demands us to act. The record is about a kind of gradual awakening between the two of us - a reconnection with the magic around us. The ineffable is not without moments of illumination - mostly in the form of immediate absurdity: One day we will all be dead but here we are alive instead. The record is called Extreme Dance Anthems because it made us both laugh."

This item came with plush missingand thread unraveling on one leg

I bought this toy because my dog spent a week playing with the same toy from Zanies that belonged to a visiting dog. My dog was very gentle with this toy, which he loved, so we decided to find one for him. The toy that arrived had no Zanies label and missing plush on the bottom where the label should have been, plus other bare spots in the area that showed the white mesh beneath. It also had a long thread at the joint of a rear leg so I knotted it at the joint and clipped it to prevent my dog from pulling at it but it's apparent that the sewing is loose and wont last long. The color was also much lighter than the toy he'd been playing with that belonged to the guest dog but I figured it might just be from a different dye lot (it was not bought at Amazon but their local pet store.) I am not convinced this is a real Zanies toy. There were two labels in French and it said it was made in China. I am returning this toy and will get a replacement and see how it looks. If it seems like it will fall apart or is not the real thing I will return it immediately. If it has a label and is in good shape and sewn well at the seams I'll revise this review.

Fantastic Dog Toy!!!

This is a great toy!!! My dog has lots of toys. But one of the problems is he has trouble getting the squeaker to squeak. He's an 18 lb terrier mix, and those squeakers are just elusive. Breaks my heart.
This one, though, the squeakers (there are two) are in small areas (head and tail), that are easy for him to get his whole mouth around and squeak. They also don't move, which also makes them easy to squeak.
So he's been squeaking up a storm since he got this!
Other plusses:
* The material is great (soft, furry material, that seems to be of good quality).
* The toy expands and contracts, which is fun.
* It's pleasant to look at.
All in all, I'd say this is one of the best dog toys I've ever bought for my dog. Highly recommended!

Great Toy in Spite of Everything.

My dog is a border collie. She loves chewing, fetching, tug of war and catch. The first day we had this toy she chewed off two of the feet. I didn't give it much of a life span. Two weeks later she chewed off a third foot. Miraculously no stuffing was exposed. It has now been a month and the toy is still going strong, albeit with one foot! She loves it.
It is now June 1st. It has been almost three months and I am retiring the toy. It no longer has any feet and the tail has been ripped open and stuffing is coming out. All in all I think I got my money's worth from this toy. I ordered another one. She still loves it!

Awesome, but not the best squeakers.

I bought the orange gecko for my 5-month-old Corgi puppy. He absolutely loves it. He came up with a "game" (sort of) where if I pick it up and start squeaking one of the ends/squeakers really quickly over and over, he'll grab the other end/squeaker and start doing the same thing with me. It was really cute until one of the squeakers stopped working about a week after I bought it... but I guess the toy wasn't too expensive, and he doesn't really seem to mind that one of the squeakers doesn't work anymore. I might buy another next time I do an Amazon order (so I can get the free shipping) and see if it lasts a little longer.
