The London based duo SPC ECO, consisting of Rose Berlin (vocals, lyricist) and Dean Garcia (producer, bass, multi-instrumentalist), release their new album Calm on Tapete. A decade on from the SPC ECO debut release 3-D (2009), the listener finds themselves in the wake of Calm, the band's ninth full-length album release. As with everything including the title of this record SPC ECO is multifaceted, they do their own thing and always have. From the opening song "Out Of Sight", you'll be reminded of the musical roots of this band, that being the '90s pioneers of genre-blurring, Curve, and their musical director Dean Garcia. As you recover from the opening song, you're treated to the multi-layered glow of "All The Voices" and "Waking Up Again" as the voice of Rose Berlin swoons (as it always has) you will fall into the Godspeed-like "Rising Up" as it shrouds you with nocturnal sonic dust rolling onto the almost jaunty tones of "Pearls" leading seamlessly into the albums trip gaze flavored "Who Are You Now?" and "Ghosts" all the way through to the closing and forbidding dark and bass-heavy lilt of "Hours" which is the perfect song to close to any album. Calm is a coming of age record; ten years after SPC ECO started to release albums, you see a band with no concern for anything other than to make a record they want to make, no hidden agendas present. There are very few bands or artists who are able to move with such grace and confidence through what seems like 50 different genres some of which you have never heard of, which is something we've come to expect and accept from any SPC ECO record, you're never quite sure what you'll get, but you know you want it. Calm it is and Calm it is not. Blue vinyl; Edition of 500.

Miracle in a bottle!
This was a lifesaver, I got badly burnt just walking for several miles one day. It was only in the 80's, not 100 degree's but still hot. Where I live there is a poor air quality, too. I was red as a lobster! It was painful and then i saw this. Read the reviews and hoped it would help. Did it ever! It not only helped sooth my skin, calm it down, it dramatically reduced the redness in just a few days!
I should have saved the photo's of the before a several days after, but I deleted them. (I wasn't thinking and they were kind of gross). They would have shown the extent of the healing thanks to this cream.
I even had some blisters, that shrank in two days after applying this! By the fourth day of applying this cream, they were gone and my skin went from being deep red to pink. What is even more awesome is this moisturized my skin! I have sensitive skin and this did not irritate it. So that was a plus!
My only issue was it's a little tacky, sticky after you apply it. So don't apply right before bed, unless you want to be stuck to your sheets. If you're in dire need of relief and to reduce the redness, this is what you want, it is a miracle in a bottle!

Good sunscreen
I originally had purchased the spray version of this product. Unfortunately, the cans clogged so I needed to return them and I ordered this instead. It tends to go on thick but I really need heavy protection so it’s fine. Seems to give good protection and I will buy it again. I’m only giving up four stars because I would’ve preferred the spray.

Long lasting. Excellent protection.
We took a trip to Florida from DC. Through full days at Disney and days on the beach, no one had even the slightest sunburn. We made sure to apply it at regular intervals, and that seemed to work amazingly. The texture wasn’t greasy at all, and the kids seem to have no problem putting it on themselves. It was very water resistant and seemed to last long in the pool. No overtly noticeable fragrances.

One of my fave moisturizers!
Love love love this lotion!
No residue, unscented and just enjoyable to use. It is very hydrating and great to use after you've been outside or just need a little extra boost to your skin. The ingredients are exceptional and I'm really excited to try other Blue Lizard brand products!! Try it, I don't think you'll be disappointed!
