Nonstop Mocca Cherry Begonia is a compact mounding annual with textured chocolate brown to bronze green foliage.  The clusters of extra large rose-like double flowers are bright cherry red and bloom from mid spring through summer.  Flowers best in part shade and rich, moist well-drained soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance.  Keep soils consistently moist.  Mulch heavily in winter if winters are cold.  New foliage is often late to appear. Very sturdy and looks good. But, the part that holds the umbrella is loose and requires a wedge to stop it spinning (I used a plastic knife). Also the screw on the bottom RUSTS and in a BIG way. To solve the rust issue I put an old plastic cutting board under it. We use it with the modifications mentioned.
