Double vinyl LP pressing. 2018 release from the British singer/songwriter best known for fronting The Jam and The Style Council as well as his enormous solo success. True Meanings is an album characterized by grandiose-yet-delicate, lush orchestration: an aesthetic to which Weller's better-than-ever voice, singing some of his most nakedly honest words, is perfectly suited. A dreamy, peaceful, pastoral set of songs to get lost in, it is both an album that his faithful audience has been wanting him to make for a long time, and an album that many new people outside of that audience will relate to. True Meanings was recorded in just over three weeks at Weller's own Black Barn Studio with a revolving cast of characters dropping in for a day here and there. The orchestration was added soon after and that was that. It is always a good sign when the recording of an album is swift, and here you can just hear that the man at the center of these songs is more focused and inspired than he has ever been.

Very good quality. Sturdy. Holds up with heavy, hot food. Food doesn't soak through. The only reason I took off one star is the cost. Way too expensive for paper plates.

Great small soup bowls!
I bought these for a family party for soup. I was nervous they were going to be flimsy and cheap. I was pleasantly surprised how thick and sturdy they are! They were a perfect size for a smaller bowl of soup or chili. We even used them in the microwave for left overs and they held up great! There was no sagging or getting soggy which I was also worried about. They are definitely good quality. They are much better than the Walmart or cheap off brands. I also loved the price. I thought they were a great deal for the quality and quantity. The only con I had was some were hard to pull apart. It was no big deal though. I will definitely buy them again.
