Tribal Rites is a musical autobiography of sorts from one of dance music's most dedicated historians, Bill Brewster. The compilation takes it's listeners on a personal journey through Bill's 36-year long involvement in the music industry. Whether running DMC's New York offices or labels including Twisted UK and Forensic, being one of Fabric's original residents, or writing (with Frank Broughton) probably the definitive overview of DJ culture, Bill's fingerprints can be found all over dance music's past few decades. Tribal Rites isn't just a "House & Disco Greatest Hits", it's the soundtrack to a life spent at the coalface of record collecting, of early mornings at car boot sales, and late nights logged onto Discogs. Split into three sections, the compilation begins in the post-punk period, and explores the influence of dub on bands like Urang Otan, General Strike, and The Raincoats. The second section takes you into that mish-mash of sounds and styles best described as "Balearic" where the likes of Bobbie Gentry and Final Edition can happily co-exist and a country and western cover of Hall & Oates "I Can't Go For That" seems obvious. The final section showcases what a broad church house music is, accommodating the spiritual yearnings of Mother Tongue and the precision tooled productions of Basic Channel's Maurizio. Switched from luxury brands and never looked back!

I used to spend way too much on high end body moisturizers thinking the price meant better results. Tried CeraVe on a whim and realized I was paying for packaging and fragrance this whole time. This does more for my skin than anything I used before.
I use it daily all over my body after showering and my skin stays soft the entire day. No irritation ever. The formula is so gentle that I forget I'm even wearing anything. No fragrance, no stinging, no breakouts. Just clean hydration. If you have sensitive skin and you're nervous about trying something new, this is about as safe as it gets.
The 19 oz tub lasts a long time even with daily full body use. Ceramides and hyaluronic acid at this price point is honestly ridiculous value. Save your money on the luxury stuff and just get this.

At this rate, I'm leaving this to my kids in my will

Ten months in and I have barely made a dent in this tub. I am genuinely starting to consider my options — mixing it into smoothies, using it as a cooking fat, applying it to every surface in the house. Something has to be done because at the current rate of consumption this container will outlive me.
In all seriousness, the value proposition here is almost absurd. CeraVe Moisturizing Cream is a legitimately great product — dermatologist recommended, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, fragrance free, non-comedogenic, works on face and body, gentle enough for sensitive skin. It does everything a moisturizer should do without irritating your skin or smelling like you bathed in a candle.
The 19oz tub is the right call if you actually plan to use moisturizer regularly. A little goes a long way, which is both the best and most frustrating thing about it. Best because you're getting incredible value per ounce. Frustrating because you will be looking at this same tub for the foreseeable future with no end in sight.
Great product, generational quantity. Buy it once, pass it down.
One star deducted because I now have to figure out what to do with the remaining 18.5 ounces.

Great for dry skin and the whole family

We use this at home for everyone, including the kids, and it works really well. We all have pretty dry skin, and this cream keeps it hydrated for hours. I apply it after showering and it leaves the skin soft without feeling greasy. It has no strong scent, doesn’t irritate, and hasn’t caused any breakouts. I also feel comfortable using it on my kids because it’s gentle and effective. The jar lasts a long time since a little goes a long way. I would definitely buy it again.

Dry Skin Miracle!

I have very dry skin, and around my chin and nose, it flakes and turns red, exposing my inner layer of skin due to severe dryness. I could never seem to hydrate it or get rid of the flakiness. I thought it was just my skin at this point, and I could do nothing to solve it. Now, I've never considered using Cerave; I've always heard negative things about it. However, I've never been a makeup person until now, when I want to try to elevate my look (not to mention I'm always in pain from a lack of hydration). The problem is, my skin is so dry that it cracks the makeup, preventing it from setting well on my face.
Another problem is that around my nostrils, the flakiness looks like boogers, nasty. It's incredibly annoying. So I did a little research, and now I'm here. LET ME TELL YOU! This cream is amazing! I love how thick it is, and how a little goes a long way! My face, for the first time in my short life, is not dry! It's not buttery smooth, as in your hand won't glide against my face, but it won't feel the flakiness and roughness of my skin—and that's a game changer! I'm genuinely obsessed with randomly rubbing my face to feel the almost barrier of hydration, especially around my nostrils! I cannot explain the level of amazement I felt when I touched my nostril area to feel practically smooth skin. I felt as if it were a miracle. I've only used it for a week now, keep in mind, and this is how I feel. PLEASE BUY THIS IF YOU'RE LIKE ME! I'M SO HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE, AND IT'S WORTH ALL MY MONEY 🙏

If you use tretinoin this is for you!

This moisturizer has been a total game changer for my skin. I’ve been using tretinoin, and my skin became extremely sensitive—dry, irritated, and compromised. After adding this cream into my routine, I noticed a huge difference.
It helped restore my skin barrier, and my skin feels calmer, more hydrated, and much less reactive. The ingredients are simple and gentle, which is exactly what sensitive skin needs—nothing unnecessary or irritating.
I’ve tried much more expensive moisturizers, and honestly, I would pass on them and stick with this. It performs better for me without the high price tag.
I also love how versatile it is—I use it on my face, neck, and body. It’s rich and nourishing without feeling greasy, and it absorbs beautifully.
If you have sensitive skin or are using tretinoin, this is definitely worth it.
