Melissa Castrillon is an award winning illustrator, author and picture book maker. She studied at the Cambridge school of art for a degree in illustation and then a Masters degree in Children's book illustration. Since graduating in 2014 she has illustrated more 15 picture books, written three and her books have been translated into more than 20 languages around the world. Melissa is inspired by bright punchy colour combos, inventive compositions, ingenious page design and unusual patterns and bizarre botanicals all of which can seen in her prints.
