Condensation (moisture buildup) is a normal occurrence when filling any air tank with a standard pump, as the compressed air cools. For safety and performance, it is essential to drain this accumulated moisture periodically.
Our Recommended Best Practice:

After Each Use: Before storing your converted tank, briefly open the main valve (with the adapter attached) in a safe direction to blow out any residual moisture from the tank's interior.

Regular Maintenance: For intensive use, we advise turning the tank upside down and fully opening the valve to drain every few refills or at the end of a project day. This ensures no water pools at the bottom, which could lead to internal corrosion over time.
Why This Matters: Proper moisture management prevents internal rust, maintains air tool efficiency, and is a fundamental safety practice for any compressed air system.
