Tef Gel 60g TubTef Gel can be used to stop corrosion between ALL dissimilar metals. In order for dissimilar metal corrosion to occur a galvanic cell needs to occur in the voids between the metals. Applying Tef Gel fills the voids and creates a barrier which no longer allows the galvanic cell to form. Tef-Gel™ can be used as an assembly lubricant to allow for ease of maintenance and is an excellent anti-seize because it doesn’t dry out or crack and can be used in applications within the temperature range of -60ºC to 280ºC.
Tef-Gel™ protects electrical connections from corrosion by creating an air tight barrier that will not allow moisture to be drawn in to the connection thus creating corrosion. Its unique properties will not impede current.
