Native Shoes was named out of love for their community and the place they call home, Vancouver, British Columbia. They are not an Indigenous-led company, and honor that the brand was founded and currently headquartered on the stolen territory of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. They are aware that the positive intent with which the brand was named over a decade ago may not always reflect the impact of their brand identity today.
