Following the success of her 2018 solo debut album Kontrapoetik (PRTLS 017LP), the Swedish composer Maria W Horn returns with Epistasis, her most ambitious record to date. The title track, "Konvektion" and the two parts of "Interlocked Cycles" see the XKatedral co-founder explore radical approaches to composition that combine avant-garde methods with electronic means. While Kontrapoetik highlighted Horn's strength as a conceptual and political artist, Epistasis is to be understood as an advanced statement by a forward-thinking composer who throughout four pieces channels her influences, ranging from black metal to minimal music, through state-of-the-art technology. Originally composed as an audiovisual piece for synchronized multi-channel sound and lights and premiered in 2018 at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, "Interlocked Cycles" is a series of pieces exploring a gradual increase in tempo and density using various instruments. It was written to be performed by a computer-controlled upright Disklavier piano while the electronic part was generated within the Supercollider framework using phase modulation synthesis. An exercise in minimalism that combines the subtle gravity of Phill Niblock's work with the visceral theatrics of Anna von Hausswolff's organ pieces. 180 gram vinyl.

Good Small Toothbrush!
TINY toothbrush, but a good size for cats! The bristles are just a bit too soft to get a good scrub in my opinion, but they seem to be good quality and fit comfortably in the hand while brushing.

The cutest little toothbrushes for the kitkats!
Never before recently had I contemplated brushing my cats' teeth. But at their most recent visit with the veterinarian, my boy kitty and one of his sisters had tartar on their teeth and I was admonished for not cleaning their teeth regularly at home. Yikes! The veterinarian gave me her recommendations. I ordered these toothbrushes to go with a toothpaste I was able to order through our compounding pharmacy. And I thought it was going to be a nightmare trying to brush their teeth. But our boy kitty actually likes it - sort of! I think he really likes the extra attention and it probably feels kind of good to get the gunk off his teeth. His sister is another story. She doesn't hate it, but I do need to give her treats before and after. These little toothbrushes are just perfect. I love the little cases included. They work perfectly and are just the right size. That makes them easy to use. And it doesn't hurt that they are absolutely adorable little toothbrushes!

Soft and Effective Pet Toothbrushes

Helps brush my cat's teeth well!
These toothbrushes are perfect for maintaining my cat's oral hygiene! The micro head and mini size make it incredibly easy to reach and clean my cat's back teeth. The toothbrush is sturdy yet gentle, with extra soft bristles that provide a deep clean without causing discomfort. I mainly use the yellow brush for cleaning my cat's back teeth. The angling of it makes reaching the back teeth very easy. I also like how these bristles are sturdy and not too flexible, so it allows me to apply a bit of pressure to scrub off the plaque. Overall, it's an excellent product that makes pet dental care simple and effective.

Exactly as shown
The brushes arrived in a zip bag, unsealed. The two clear brushes come in tubes. The yellow brush was in a sealed plastic bag. The bristles are soft but dense enough that they feel effective and not flimsy. The pricey ($9.99) is okay.
